#1 - Convert the rest of your cosmetics to the new armor kit system

#2 - Iconic skins available to everyone. Both Morninglord and Shadar-Kai have solid skins that I'm sad I can't wear outside those iconic lives.

#3 - SHINY plate armor. Armor along the lines of this: http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Elfcraft_Plate_Armor, but polished

#4 - Don't be afraid of color. We already have tons of black and grayish armors. When I'm looking at cosmetic armors, and over half have "black" or "dark" and the few that have colors in the name are just mostly gray with a muted color... part of what makes Red and Green dragonscale armor so pretty is the bold colors.

    Direct Suggestions:

Enameled Armors: Take the Green Dragonscale armor and work out the dragon faces. From that, create an "Enameled Armor" cosmetic skin set. A color spectrum matching hair dyes would be awesome, but beyond the 5 existing dragon scale colors, do outside the spectrum already covered in game. Pink, purple, orange, gold, etc. If it is possible, a white pearlescent armor that changed colors at different angles... but that's getting a little too far fetched.

Just a Ninja Mask: I know a ninja mask exists, but it's a full headpiece. Just a mask that covered nose and mouth while leaving your hair style would be a good option.
Pinc Punch - Unarmed Monk (Uber Completionist) // Porc the Orc - Paladin // Thunderborn - Warlock // Imustbe Emo - PewPew Rogue // Aquamine Artifact - Crafting Artificer (shelved)

would love a version of the hookblades out of the lordsmarch chain, only epic versions, they already hung at higher teen lvls and even 20 , before lvl 24, but since +7 and up have arrived, they been left cluttering in the corner.(dont i really wish) they are a nice design and look great, and they do work, even if its not a hook blade, they at least could be styled after such... jmho

    Lots of stuff:

I'd like the War Wizards Robes to look like the robes the NPC War Wizards wear, not some generic robe.

I'd like the Kobold Admirals Uniform to look like a uniform, not random leather armour.

I'd like to be able to use cosmetics on hirelings. Some of the outfits they wear look stupid. Elieri Thistledown from the Starter pack has a bikini top and plate armour leggings. Looks completely stupid.

Some skirts or dresses for female characters. Most of the armours are close-fitting on the legs.

With all the skimpy female outfits, why not go all the way and have bikinis and swimsuits? Or even (blurry censor) nudity? It works for other MMOs[JOKE]

Some skimpy topless Conan-style outfits for male characters. Or Bruce Lee.

A Dryad-style leaves and flowers ensemble for Druids and Fey Warlocks.

    Magical Girl outfits for Warlocks.

The High Priestess of Vol's dress looks good, have that as a cosmetic.

The red glow from Halsame's staff looks good, have that as a cosmetic.

Allow throwing weapons to have cosmetics, I'd like to use the Essence of the Silver Flame from The Spinner's Prison. Or the Abbot's boulders.

Cosmetic Eldritch Blasts, change colour and style.

The SINGLE biggest change required with armour, especially heavy armours, is they must cover the throat and neck. Visible, vulnerable necklines are fine for cloth or light armour but nothing heavier. It would be nice if they also had a default helmet appearance that went with them - bareheaded for cloth or light armour, "open" type helm for medium armour and "closed" type helm for heavy armour. Selecting the display helmet option should override this.
The second change required is sensibly sized pauldrons or elbow, knee spikes.

The death knight armor appearance from the Lords of Dust chain would be cool. I would like to see more docents that doesn't look like it was painted on the model, I would like to see some docents that look like actual leather, hide, chain mail and other types of armor.

Racial styled armor kits would be cool as well.
yes to the scythe, please add in a death cosmetic kit XD

spears were asked before, though i don't know what they are supposed to add, there is no bullrush attack nor mounted combat to use it against.
double axes? i'll file this one with double swords, double bows, double buckler, double kama, double trident, double rapier and double cat launcher(please don't ask).
To darn silly for it to work.

    Cloaks?
i can see the complaints coming from people with under build pc's&laptops.
Maybe if there is an option on each client to turn of cosmetics and pets?
i like the idea and loved the cloak in symphony of the night.
i just wonder, are you looking at a cloak that blocks of your vision, your arm movement in combat and the view of your armor kit.

    1. Heavy Armour without the overly huge/out of proportion pauldrons. Many existing armours would look nice if these were scaled down to size
    2. Frozen Plate (from Red Fens) style medium armour in different colour options, but with coordinating colours. The loot-gen colour combinations on this model tend to reduce the aesthetic quality of the armour.
    3. Armour/helms with Holy Symbols or other badges. The Graphics exist already, and a fist-sized badge on a set of armour would add to character identity.
    4. Armour using the model of the Sun Elf Gleaming Plate, available to non Sun Elves as either a cosmetic or a dropable armour model. Other colour combinations could be used.
    5. Armour/outfits with Add-ons like scabbards or quivers across the back would make it look like we have some way to carry the weapons we go around with. This could either be part of an armour model or introduced as a new cosmetic point. If the latter, cosmetic items could be awarded on completing Epic Destinies, as an extra reward (e.g. When you complete Fatesinger, you get a cosmetic Lute that you can slot)
    6. Faerunian Drow and Netherese Sellswords have nice outfits and armour, but the same designs do not appear to be available to players. These could easily be reused in existing colours or different colour schemes to provide new options.
    7. It would be nice to see some of the "sexy" armour options for women exist in more practical options (It's difficult to take Wyoh seriously in her minidress, when she dies frequently in quests above lvl 20). Similarly, it would be nice to have some "sexy" options for the men to wear too. If a panel can be left as flesh for women and made leather/chain for men at the moment, the opposite should be possible.

It would be nice to have some Heavy Armour that could be made part of the Eveningstar Cleric set - the Medium Armour options tend to penalise Clerics who are Battle Priests, unless they have high Dex.

Faith weapons for Clerics would be nice. Forgotten Light (from High Road) gives a Wis bonus, but Maces are only the weapons of one of the religions. Shortswords (Vulkoor), Longswords (Sovereign Host), Greatswords (Lord of Blades), Scimitars (Undying Court) and Longbows (Silver Flame) that allow use of Wisdom and have the appropriate Holy Symbol on them, or have relevant styling would add additional flavour to the religions.

Dragon Sword of acid because the handle looks like a lightsaber. I just got the green comyrian dragonhide armor and I like it because it is sexy. I refuse to wear most of the dragonscale armors because I don't like how they look. I don't care if it gimps me I want to look cool I just saw the Centurion armor and Insulated Armor on the wiki and it looks AMAZING I want to do the Restless Isles until I get it. The dragontouched vestments are also the coolest monk garbs in the game too but maybe that's because cyan is my favorite color

Spears just look great, and if it came with a spear adept enhancement line or something similar, along with Spartan like armor akin to the movie 300, that would give a reason to add it. I can't see my dwarf looking good with a spear nor being proficient with it though, only humans, or half humans allowed ; )

More rounded shields would be nice, already got the Spartan like cosmetic helm, which I like, add a couple more varieties of that.

Default I'm not gunna go nuts with the crazy cosmetics

I've always kinda liked the 'needlessly pimped out' approach to DDO Cosmetic Armors... and I can distinctly remember all the ones I purchased (even if I delete them in the space of a week).

What can I say? It's Favor TP and sometimes you just wanna look baller. That said, **** be overpriced son. You're telling me a cover graphic is past 700 tp? I could get a new pack with that.

Anyway, my major gripe is in-game items not matching up with what I wanted to look like. As someone said above "I'd like the War Wizards Robes to look like the robes the NPC War Wizards wear, not some generic robe.

I'd like the Kobold Admirals Uniform to look like a uniform, not random leather armour." Also, an Armor Set that makes you look like any one of the patron house armors. Phiarlan Plate, Deneith Plate, Kundarak Chain, Jorasco / Cannith Robes, ect.

Some of the Eveningstar level 20 Sets (that need comms) look hella ugly.

As an aside I'll mention that my favorite cosmetic and in-game sets are the ones that aren't crazy with things sticking off and pauldrons you could have a feast out of. Like the close-to-body WF sets or some female sets. Also a little more symmetry or unique coloration in trash loots that stay when you deconstruct em.

Oh and one last thing... if you're talking about an ugly armor set... the leather one for lowbies with the bird face on the chest? Screw that thing.

Default What I'd like to see in Armor

I'd like to see more historically correct medieval styled armors in full plate and chainmails. Historically correct Greek and Roman armors, Japanese Samurai type armors and actual ninja outfits (Not the current pajama types).I'd also like to see a cosmetic tabard, cosmetic so you can click it on and off to show off your awesome armor while questing and show guild pride at guild events. A tabard that could be chosen from a variety of colors. With emblems chosen for them so that a guild could create a guild tabard, that guild officers and members could wear over their armor to give solidarity and guild identity to help build some guild esprit de corps.
The Rogues of Argonnessen, picking pockets for a better Stormreach, relieving you of your clutter so you don't have to. Need something? Tell us where you saw it, how well it's guarded and when the current owners aren't going to be home. We will get you the exact same make, model and color, For a fee.

i hope the dev's don't turn your (paid) guild logo into a picture of a purple wolf because someone, somewhere in some culture takes offence of your guild logo on your tabard.

Personally, I would like to see more skin options for male characters, and please add one-handed Scythes in the game that use different animations from the normal TWF animations (think Darksiders 2 in how Death [pictured below] fights with his scythes).

    http://darksiders.wikia.com/wiki/Dea...=Cover-610.jpg

Also, it would be nice if we could have hoods that still allowed for the glowing eye effects -

Something without a wildly asymmetric pauldron design.
    A few more darkwood offerings.
If you are really considering going to the trouble to create new helms, then please consider revisiting old orchard helms from tapestry turn-ins.
A lot of armors look "thin." For example, on quite a few heavy armors, there are bits that looks like they are supposed to be overlapping layers, but appear flat against the character's body instead, and the only parts with any real bulk are weird-looking pauldrons. If the layers could be made into actual layers, I think that would look very cool.
Fewer skulls and gray/black, and something a bit more celestial-inspired for my pally.
I would like to be able to dye the colors on random loot-gen armor to make them a bit more custom, then glamor those.
For new weapons, I would like to see more of the less common weapon types that may be mechanically good, but needing a decent weapon in a certain range to make them more appealing.

Shooting them doesn't work if your arrows bounce off their armour like English longbow arrows from medieval plate. Only way then is to get up close and personal (or invent firearms).

There is an issue with a lot of the in game artwork when it comes to armor, the artwork lakes depth or weight if it were. It makes you character appear to be wearing paper thin armor. For years I kept five suits of armor (all mithral) because they showed a bulk the other armors do not show in hopes that something like the mirror of glimmering would come along, and after a few issues I am not disappointed.
This fault does not just hit heavy armor, but leather, chain, banded, half-plate, and so on and so forth all need some loving, I mean tweaking to be better.

Originally there were a decent number of okay armor sets when the game was released in 2006/07 that seem to have been dropped from the loot tables, many of these older armor sets are, IMHO, better looking then what replaced them. Very true in the light armors, the all black chain or the death leathers or ... I would love to see those brought back. I am guessing they dropped due to the new races but one never knows.

Beyond the depth of the armor my next complaint would be the number of armor that use skulls as decoration, I don't mind the occasional skull, but when it seems like 90 percent of the armors have flattened skulls on them its a bit depressing for your lawful good paladin.

When it comes to nature oriented armor - think woodland barbarian motif - there isn't a whole lot of choice currently, two or three basic armors with a couple of colors each, none of which really inspire praise.

I personally would like to see racial armor, you know a specific armor design that highlights a specific race, Halfling only, dwarf only, half-orc only, dragonbourne only, and so on and so forth, I wouldn't cry many tears if that happened.
    /+1 I totally second that:

    1. I would also buy Cloaks, even if they would cost >1000TP
    2. Armor appearance look indeed often more like body painting and lack depth and often to extravagant and fency. How about a classical lion pattern or monk look? If color how about some gingham or dirndl look? Heck in ESO you even can dress as a cook.
    3. Use less skulls and spikes
    4. If you want to go full color to make something outstanding then where is the equivalent to the pink Quorforged Docent of Battle or a orange dress (A guild member always complaint my halfling cleric is too small and too easy overlooked)?
    * We have collectable bags, mind you, even hireling folders, but can I have that 6-pack for my potions please?
    * Having already a past life on the dieng EU servers, I rerolled here and started from scratch as I like the game and the community, so lets see what awaits me here

Quite frankly, the huge pauldrons stuff needs to go. It looks like vomit. A lot of the base skins look fine, but the overlaying elements look like garbage heaped on the character.

I'd like to see the old loot-gen art brought back as well. A lot of nice chain armors, some nice leathers (Desecrated Leathers has one of my favorites, been meaning to farm one to use a mirror on for my Druid). While it may not be in-game now, you should have backups of old assets somewhere. Given that some of it can still be gotten from old chain rewards like WW or STK (I pulled some Mithril armor the other day), I'd imagine the assets are still there.

Drop the skulls and spikes. It looks stupid. Another reason I liked the older armors better.

Also, drop the stripper suits. One of the reasons I liked DDO was the lack of overly sexualized armor skins for females in the game. I may not be opposed to a little T/A, (I'd especially like a '71 Dodge Challenger T/A with the 340/4spd combo), but I can go to any number of free porn sites if I want to be excited.

And no, I've never liked chainmail bikinis. In my project cRPG, the armors and suits look the same as the males, with only some difference in the chest area for obvious reasons (and breastplates look the same regardless, boob-plate would lead to weapons being directed into a vulnerable point). I prefer more realistic looking armors.

More symmetry. Particularly on robes. I still have several old loot gen robes which I keep as twink items, and they look SO much better than the newer stuff. Even the Kermit green one.

Going beyond cosmetics, I'd also like to see the ghostbaning of the armor ended. Bring back old armor prefixes and suffixes! Put Fort and spell power on lootgen armors! Sacrifice a goat!
