Harper is free to VIPs (which I am).

Harper is in addition to any and all other class trees, but we're still limited to X # of trees, correct? IIRC, that's 6 trees right?

So this would allow things like INT-based rogue 2 / bard? INT-driven EKs? INT-driven artificers?

What's the difference between Strategic Combat 1 and 2?

... this seems like a very strong tree for hybrid characters ...

It allows INT-based damage and to-hit for any weapon. So yep, you could do an int-based 20 Barb if you wanted to roleplay a genius neanderthal. Your suggestions are probably superior build options.

Know the Angles (also in Harper, Tier 2) is an additional 1/2 Int MOD to-damage temporary buff on top of that (and currently allegedly stacks with DM, but that seems to be a bug).

Thanks for that - wiki isn't clear (says INT to hit and damage on both entries) and I'm at work so can't check. This would mean I'd only need one on the current life on the character in question - she's apparently (again, been gone fora bit) rogue 2 / arti 1 ... I can only assume I was heading for arti-enough-for-fusilade+rogue rest. Not having to worry w/ the insightful infusion is handy.

It really opens up simplification options. If I want to run more repeater lives, that's easy. Essentially I can go INT-based for her, keep rogue skills up for heroic fun and be single-stat easily. So arti-4 / ranger (say - though rogue would have the sneak dice)

Or I could put her back as an INT assassin and not be stuck w/ just the EMGs for INT to damage (though there may be other weapons that do it now).
