    Default Falchion?

I've been running Heroics for a while now (for PLs/completionist on one of my toons) & not run much of the new (or not so new now I guess!) epic content (GH, Orchard, Ruins etc etc) so not overly familiar with a lot of the new gear. Looking forward to it when I finish my heroic lives....

I see a lot of people using the TF Falchion; my question is, why the falchion over a GA or even GS? Is the crit profile?

I know there are one or two threads on Falch vs GA vs GS but curious on why Falchion seems to be the choice now.

    Thanks in advance.

    SotS.

Its the crit profile, Falshion has the best crit profile of any Two Handed weapon type.

There are some situation where you can make something else compete with it (Maul in LD with Pulverizer), and a few weapons with non standard Crit Profiles Epic Sword of Shadows. But when looking at GS, or TF Falchion is the clear winner.

grail you should run some numbers on a fighter (pure, centered, whatever) using tf dragons edge+mortal fear and dragons edge+crippling flames.

axe is better base damage and effective hits, better with momentum swing.

falc is better dragons edge, crippling flames, fists of iron. i guess momentum swing actually might be better with tf falc since more crit is more crit.
You are but a lamb, ignorant of your own ignorance. You no longer interest me.
