    Default Bring Back Epic Crafting

This has probably been suggested before, but I'd like to remind the devs: A very simple way of making Epic Crafting viable again would be to make the seals and shards unbound and freely tradable.

Seals and shards that have been languishing in bank slots would quickly find their way onto the Auction and Shard houses. You may want to increase their drop rate too.

Yes please. I hate how over hundreds of runs you're still very likely to be no closer to getting the epic you want in, say, the Menechtarun. I run ADQ very frequently on EH and EE, and the shard and seal drop rate is still abysmal.

I agree, I have bags full of this junk, that's all most of it is to me, junk. I have collected all the best old things to collect, IMO.
I am now working on collecting all the new best things.
I sure would love to be able to give all these seals and shards to people who can appreciate them, you know people that don't think it's junk.

One option, if devs are reluctant, is to make just the seals unbound.

While this would be a good solution moving forward, the one problem with this is that changes like this typically are not retroactive.

So in all likelihood everything we have collected so far would stay BtA.

I think that the items themselves are more important than the seals & shards.

There are a few old Epic items that are still worth making, but most of them are junk.

You're not going to grind for -- or trade for -- an item that's subpar compared to lootgen or Eveningstar commendation turn-in gear...or even ML 15 heroic Wheloon gear in some cases.

If old Epics are buffed to be, relatively speaking, as awesome at level 20 as Greensteel is at level 11/12, then people will WANT them, and be happier with the grind, whether ingredients are tradable or not.

Note I'm not suggesting they should be level 28 end-game gear, or even level 25. But I'd be very happy to see most old Epic items as best-in-slot for some build or other in the level 20-23 range.

Also note I'm not opposed to making the seals or shards unbound. I just think that's insufficient by itself to revitalize Epic crafting.
