I am trying to discuss yet another brand new DDO producer without being snarky but it's SO HARD. Doesn't anyone love us?
-> Never mind. Just focus on the letter.

It is pretty bogus imo that every turbine is using DDO Producers chair as a stepping stone/test position for people.
Every time we get someone we like... Little time goes by and BOOM look who's at LOTRO.
Does being on that team pay more or something?
Would love to have a Producer that would say.....
" ya know what guys, I appreciate the promotion to LOTRO but I have a strong dedication to the DDO Community and I Feel my position will be better suited here."
one day....
We change Producers faster than we get updates.

It comes down to technicalities of job titles. Severlin has actually been the DDO Producer since MajorMalphunktion went over to LotRO (check out Vyvyanne's Producers Letter from back in July where she mentions him as such). Vyvyanne is actually a "Franchise Director", meaning she's Severlin's boss. There are quite a few Franchise Directors for Turbine's games, and it appears that they switch around between the games as needed. Basically the Franchise Director are the people who ultimately decide where the direction of the game is going. The Producers (Severlin in this case) reports directly to the Franchise Directors, and act as somewhat of a "middle man" of sorts between all the Developers, art departments, music departments, etc, and the Directors. So in reality, it appears not much has changed in the past 6 months, except that maybe there is different Director in charge of the direction of the game.
Majmal is no longer with the company, he's been working for another gaming company for a few months now, according to his Linkedin.
