(Combat): You are hit by your knockdown.
Warlock Cyressy
The rare necro at the end of Butchers Path. You go through the water and open the door under water and swim through. Run down a short tunnel and see a trog.
I remember the first time I found him YEARS ago and charged him and quite abruptly died after he fireballed me LOL
Toons - Ziffin / Hirtz / Mheka / Duskh
Guild - High Lords of Malkier
Server - Sarlona
You would probably have a hard time killing the Warforged Titan or Xy'zzy outside of their quest mechanics
EE Raiyum at level 24 can also still pretty tough (those goddamn hex-wraiths).
Thelanis - Ethforged - Etherar - Fjirty --- Mitis Mors
Ghallanda - Ethrayne - Ethryne --- Omnipresence

my vote is for aurelia. if youre not ready for it she can take you out in under a second, no buffs required (looking at you red dragons...).
demon queen ee is a joke...
You are but a lamb, ignorant of your own ignorance. You no longer interest me.
I haven't faced them all on my own up front. But of the ones I have fought, the Maralith is the hardest.
Bug template! QA is here for you.
How random DD is
how to handle this random, anywhere
Sarlona: Seikojin, Toy
Well she is now for Epic level 28 Destinied toons with TR's and Epic past lives....
Its not really a fair comparison anymore , EDQ is a level 20 endgame raid from 2009..
She was never designed to face a game upgraded to level 28 with epic destinies and such.
All these bosses are more challenging when faced at the difficulty level they were designed for.
To make it a fair comparison, you would need to face off against them with level appropriate toons and gear from the time era...
so no ship buffs either.. or DDO store pots. or any other cheesy bs stuff. (like tornado pots, card items, event items and such)

sure its not a fair comparison but it is what it is.
at level im still more afraid of aurelia. currently running low prr build, got hit with all six swords a couple days ago on ee at 25, dead in under a second flat. have a friend with a high prr pally and if it werent for loh hed die in there too occasionally.
lailat just doesnt deal as much damage per hit.

Leader of Legion of Eberron on Cannith.
Characters: Loromir & Baldomir....among others.
Optional troglo from Butcher's Path and Sunken Sewer.
Lich from Dead Girl if you're melee. Globe of inflict serious wounds or something . . . had to eat aloooottta cake soloing that one on my monk.
Worst boss fights tend to be that way not because of the boss himself, but because of the flunkies (In the Flesh, Spinner of Shadows, elite Chronoscope), or because of particularly difficult fight mechanics (Shroud part 4, Temple of the Deathwyrm). Individually awesome end bosses IMO are all mariliths. Several people already mentioned Queen Lailat and Princess Aurelia, but my top choice at-level would be epic Devashta. Put it this way -- I went to the trouble of making a Mineral II Greensteel bow for one of my toons for the express purpose of fighting Devashta.
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
"Of course it is. Are YOU going to question beholder's artistic sense?"
At-level? Quite a few named already. My personal beefs, where I bring out my A-game, are:
- Karas in "Lords of Dust." Especially on Epic difficulties. You learn why you need more than 100% fortification after he hits you there.
- Aarretrikos. Even on Heroic Elite, he's still a poison-immune, death-poison dealing bag of HP that takes even a full over-leveled Epic character party some time to whittle down.
- Any beholder. Bane of all players, but a good stun from a Monk and he's a punching bag.
- The Devourer of Dreams in "The Dreaming Dark." No escape. No shrine. Stat-draining as well as his minions. A Crystal/Good DR. He's just hard to hurt.
- Priestess Vicala in "Impossible Demands": As deadly as she is beautiful. If you leave too much alive in that farmhouse, she'll outlast your party.
- Whisperdoom in her named quest. For the unprepared, her Horrid Wilting and strange DR (she's a magical beast, not spider) will stymie parties. Learned happily that she's not poison-immune, and a Ninja Spy turns her into bug jelly fast with Ninja Poison DoTs.
- Aurora the marilith in "In the Demon's Den." On Hard and Elite difficulties, she goes on the offensive immediately. You can't kill her until her efreeti are killed, which take time. Combined with plenty of minions in your way, she's a logistical nightmare.
For a very low-level surprise: Kobold Shamans. You forgot to get some Electric Resistance? You won't next time you see these guys. What part of "Kobold hate you" did you not understand?
