Destiny Help please.

OK So Lieuk's now 30k xp off completing Fatesinger {a pretty good destiny comparatively to level} and only has Draconic and Magister left.

He's sitting at 24 {almost 25}.

Do I run both Drac and Mag this go round
or
Do I ETR again upon hitting 28 and finish that ETR in GMoF?
or
Do I TR after getting one of them and start the Past Life Grind?


Which should I run first - Drac or Mag?


P.S. I still need 150 Favour for my 5000 - Does anyone still run the E3BC end quest on Cannith?

If I were that close to 5k favor, I surely wouldn't TR just yet. Then again, +6 tomes are for sale in store if that is a route you take. Either way, I would <3 the fun of making 5k favor.

As for whether to level Drac or Mag first, I would suggest whichever fits your character best. If you decide to go for an ER + TR chain, will either of those fit the TR'd life better?

And it's highly unlikely he'll be doing caster lives any time soon {clonk maybe but again doubtful.}.
Chances are it'll be Monk, Rogue, Rogue, Rogue, Fighter, Fighter, Fighter, Monk for the next few lives. With Pally and Ranger after that.

Are you just going for one Arcane PL or more? If you already have full Arcane karma, then you might as well get the PL. Then you can level Magister while building up Arcane karma again.

Daily Runs aren't giving 100k per run any more!

And I'm really not EE capable at Lvl 20-25 for the likes of 3BC and Orchard!

I'm willing to bet that there's more XP options for myself staying at 28 than E-TRing yet again but I've gotta get my E-TRs done at some point - It's just a case of which one makes more sense:
Putting off the E-TRs till later lives
or
Putting off Magister till a later life.

If I'm understanding you correctly your character is almost Level 25 and you still have 2 EDs to fill in the Arcane Destiny.

That means you have 3,600,000 XP still to earn

Each ED has a maximum of 1,980,000 XP to fill it

So it looks like you could get at least one more ED in and 1/2 to 3/4's of the Second one. This would also mean that the Arcane Sphere would be full (or so close)

So finishing these would mean 2 to 3 Fate Points and Arcane Epic TR Ready.

I would recommend Draconic especially if you have access to some spell points as the blast tier 4 is a nice AoE damage

Done all his Destinies? Do you mean that all of his ED's are capped, and all you need to bother with is leveling up karma? If so, then it doesn't matter which ED you play with so long as it is in the Arcane sphere if you are after Arcane PL's.

No - Done all EXCEPT Draconic and Magister!

Those are the last two.

And yes the rest {well except the last 30k xp of Fatesinger} are capped out.

I'd go for draconic first. The fireshield clicky is usefull, as is the energy burst (especially in EH or less)

Beyond tier 1, magister completely sucks for monks. I leveled up magister by swapping to it before picking up saga rewards, or by swapping into it when running very easy exp farms.

Yeah, chipping away at Magister with saga rewards is excellent advice. For a monk, all you get from Magister are +6 reflex saves and crappy sigils.

better run the one you don´t like at all first in your current life so there will be something you can looking Forwards to. Magister. Besides that one with +6reflex and the planeshifting moments, it´s useless (imo).Maybe grind out every ED before ED, then it´s all done and you can start freshly motivated in your next life.

The easiest way to do it would be to tr into a sorc and then go through those destinies as a sorc.

If you really want to avoid being a caster for whatever reason, you could try some cha based melee build, maybe paladin or fvs to make use of some draconic stuff.

Magister is all kinds of lousy, even for a dc wizard. You could run sagas and switch to magister before picking up the xp reward for the saga, that would allow you to run in whatever sphere, though its obviously slower.
