I can't log on

I open up DDO, put in my Password, click on login. The "Login" window goes grey, like before you put in your password. Then nothing happens. Now I put in password and click Login window I get this message, "Error logging in! Connection closed". I have restarted my Computer 3 times. Put in wrong password, (to see if anything differnt) I still get same message.

No idea what to do.

Had same thing happen to me, only now the launcher hangs at "Checking Product..... 44%"
some googling seems to imply that turbine's patch/login server is having some issue and that you may just be out of luck until they fix on their end.
