Stick Fighting damage + Druid Shapechange

Has anyone tested whether or not the Rogue Thief Acrobat, level 3 ability called "Stick Fighting" will apply your DEX bonus to Damage when in animal form? I was trying some early level tests and the damage numbers from the QuarterStaff seemed to be matched up with my high DEX and that Enhancement. I just want to verify whether or not it's worth it. Or possibly if my extra damage was coming from the Quarterstaff Enhancement line from my 3 Rogue levels?

Slightly off topic, but I cannot restrain myself from asking: wouldn't things be easier and better if the Weapon Damage Display worked properly?

Couldn't agree more! But still looking to see if anyone has experience with any kind of DEX damage and Druid animal forms.
