Unable to connect to patch server

I am currently not able to connect to the patch server.

I am getting the error Server connection timed out.

It is just trying over and over every 60 seconds but no love.

I have tried restarting my computer.

It was working until the recent connection issues Turbine was having that they now report as resolved.

Update:

I was able to connect by going to the options in the patcher and manually entering a proxy server that I happen to know.

This likely indicates that the connectivity issues that were due to routing issues that Turbine was having are not fully resolved for everybody.

I am getting this same issue. I will look for a workaround but I don't have a proxy server to try it with.

Same issue here. It would appear "fixed" for most caused "broken" for a few. Several commenters said they were west coast USA (as am I)..I wonder if this is a regional issue.

Fortunately I have more important things to do the next few days..if it's resolved by Tuesday night, it's all good in my eyes.

I have same problem,
i start launcher, overall bar blocks at 33% and not go ahead, and say can't connect to server.

Same thing many many other players have.

Someone rsolved? Is a turbine issue?

got the same thing going on was fine yesterday.. but then I think today I deleted "akami net session" and then everything down hill.. thing is I have a freind visiting me he has his comp and plays as well... and he can connect, we are not sure why this is...

I am unable to connect to the patch server today, not sure how to do a work around.
