    Default 2 build requests

I have 2 different monks I am looking into building but am unsure on how I should split them and could really use your guys help.

I want one to be a beefy DPS using Qstafs... I know I want him monk/rogue but a unsure of the best split.... also would it be worth it to splash a little cleric in there maybe 12/6/2 M/r/c ?? ???s race class split when ect???

and the other would be a light cleric based around his self healing human I know for the enhanced healing but what kind of split would I be looking at for the best bang for the puck running with hand wraps should he splash cleric for the heling bonus?? how much rogue should I really take ect ect ect

I could really use your guys input on this (and I know neither fo these builds are min max super troopers, but they both seem like they would be fun to play and as this is my first play through they will be TRed any way so I have time befor I look for "the best build"

    Thanks loads

    QS: M16/R4 I think.

Common splashes are: 8/6x/6x, 9/9x/2x, 10/8x/2x, 12/6x/2x, 15/5x, 16/4x, 16/2x/2x and 18/2x. There are other ones too I'm sure but they are "forumly uncommon". Take a look at the enhancement trees at ddowiki.com and try to figure out what would suit you the most. Every build is viable in EN content. Maybe even on EH (solo). All builds should be viable if you do EE in group, but many of them won't be viable if you want to solo EEs. Mind that the people on the forums here do not know everything and did not try everything from 1-20. They use wiki or Char Planner or Destiny Planner. They have everything the game offers (crafting and so on) but you have nothing. So a build that differs from common sense might also be viable and very good. Just think about what you want and what seems to make sense and try it.

Default how well do cler and Mon go togeather

ar say 6 lvls of cleric worth the healing addition if so is it really worth taing the rogue splash...... the QS one I know ill be taking rogue for access to the acrobat trees staff feets + the utility of being a trapper but im not sure if any other splash would be worth it.

Be forewarned: Quivering Palm DCs are about to get nerfed hard in U21; DC bonuses like Shatter and Combat Mastery will no longer apply, IIUC. That's gonna make monk lvls 15+ a lot less attractive...

    Default Staff build

    Notes:
1.) You may want a different leveling order to get Quick Strike earlier. I did the order I did for better skill progression. Monk 12 by level 18 is also very good so you don't have to use an epic feat for master stances.
2.) For a non-2xTR, you could drop strength, con, or int. Depends on whether you value 1.5 damage, 1xLevel HP, or skill points more. Past lives don't need to be monk either, that's just what I put because it fits the build the best.
3.) You could change feats a bit. Dodge/Mobility/Deflect Arrows/Toughness/Magical Training are mostly filler. The +1 dex tome is needed for dodge if you want it. The +2 tomes and other +1 tomes are completely optional.
4.) I chose 12/6/2 for monkly goodness, SD stance for needed defenses (plus a cheaper haste boost than rogues get), and rogue for Quick Strike, 2 tiers of staff training, and the 15% attack speed. More rogue doesn't seem to offer too much to me, especially with tight(ish) AP.
5.) Levels in strength, though this should be fairly clear by the OC and the ending STR.
