Default Need advice to finish my toon

I have a level 17 shadar-kai 12 monk/5 rogue dex toon using quarter staffs. I have been banking my xp, and now I'm capped, forced to take the next level. My final level will be rogue to max rogue skills. My dilemma is whether I should take 2 pally levels for the saves or fighter levels for the extra feats which would be ithf and gthf for some extra dps. My saves at the moment are around 30 give or take few points(reflex saves are at 30). I can get my charisma to around 20, maybe 22, boosting my saves by 5 or 6 points. Having a hard time deciding which direction to take with this toon. Thank you in advance for your advice.

Id say take paladin. Saves are batter than that extra dps. Plus you need base 17 str for feats and it will be hard to get on dex based.

If you can lr ill say take 13 monk 5 rouge 2 something. Level 6 rouge gives nothing but level 13 monk gives free spell resist so thats one less item to take care of.

SR is useless in EE and probably not needed in EH.

Do you have enough charisma to make paladin useful? Are you lawful good? Alignment will make a big part of your decision (like if you can be paladin or druid).

I'm currently at work, so can't verify the alignment, but I'm pretty sure it's lawful good. I'm curious what kind of benefits I'd get from 2 levels of druid as I have never played a character of that class before. Had a quick look at the wiki page and didn't notice anything that would be beneficial to my build. Perhaps I'm missing something.

1 level of druid gives ram's might (+2 damage, disregard the +2str), shillelagh (useful with stout oak and random gen sticks, take jump if using sireth I guess), beguile, and access to emp heal and echoes of power for cocoon. It's a lot for 1 level. You also gain access to wand and scroll mastery to use with UMD if you can spare the AP. I'm not saying it better than paladin, which is also very nice, but it has a big upside and is comparable depending on your needs/goals. But it does require some portion of your alignment to be neutral.

23 SR is almost certainly meaningless long before you're even in epic levels. I must admit to a certain curiosity as to whether a 50 SR (attainable by Drow Paladins) would be effective.

The only time I've seen useful SR is when my Crystal Cove farmer used a Scarab of Protection. Staying at 1st level meant easier monsters to beat for the same amount of crystal. SR 20 actually worked some of the time against level 5-10 enemies.

I disagree. The extra monk level only gets me 23 SR, and if I'm not mistaken it doesn't stack with any other bonus to SR. The 6th level of rogue gives me more skill points, +1 to all saves and +1 dodge. But thank you for the suggestion, it made me look over the classes again and got me leaning towards paladin like you suggested. The extra saving throw I get from my rogue level and the +5/+6 from pally will make a difference. This also raises one more question, the paladin aura of good gives +1 to saving throws of all characters within range as stated on the wiki page. Would that apply to me as well?
