    • The second to top category always awards Skill Tomes. (+1, +2, or +3 on Silver, +4 or +5 on Gold)
    • The top category always awards Ability Tomes. (+1, +2, or +3 on Silver, +4 or +5 on Gold)
    • XP rewards from Gold rolls are 10 times the XP rewards from a corresponding Silver roll.


    We hope that the streamlining of the categories and available rewards, together with the XP rewards, will help make everyone's Daily Dice rolls more appealing.
    It does, I finally have a reason to spend a few shards here and there now and then.

    Is it possible for you to make the exp tokens stack-able? When I tried this out on Lam I didn't a massive amount of rolls to see if it was weighted and how much XP I could pull and I ended up with 20-30 tokens, many of the 1, 2 and 3k value and all of them took up one slot both in inventory and bank. Maybe you should let us bag it. Just a thought. Especially since it would be one of those things you save up for a TR run or such.

    Ha! I like this idea. It could be funny if you got debuffed (blinded, cursed, mummy rotted, diseased, fatigued, exhausted, feared, etc...) but that's probably too harsh for new players who don't carry all those pots as a matter of course.

    Maybe curse us with appearances, like pumpkin head, the "you're a kobold!" disguise, the taken cookies, etc...

    Can I two-thumbs-up this idea even if it is my very first ever forum post here? Heck, I'd pay extra just for a chance to get pun'kin headed!

    I vote pumpkinhead. If for no other reason then to annoy all the people who whine about being pumpkinheaded during Mabar, even after the Devs added the toggle removed the pumpkin.

    Spent quite a bit of astral shards on Lamannia trying out the gold rolls and I have to say I love the changes. The xp stones are great, but I do echo the desire for those to stack. The consumables and questing aids are nice as well. Gold seal elixirs of healing, deathward potions, bells of opening...good stuff.

    good change but

    +1tome and +2 tome highest reward??? why they are junk second highest has the good stuff.
    +1tome and +2tomes junk definitly not as good as a exp pot so i get unhappy when i get highest rank silver rolls.

    last time i got a high roll and got a +1tome i sighed and thought to myself do i destroy it right now or do i send it to my bank toon to lay there for a couple of years until i destroy it to save space.

    lot of these rewards require its own bankspace since you only own a single of them and are not worth 1 bank space, think i remember getting couple of high lvl healing pots awhile back from the lottery destroyed them at the spot not worth a single inventory space if its only 1-5 wouldnt save 10 or 20 of them either 50 is were id start to consider them worth a invetory slot.

    stop giving me single number junk i dont have the bank/inventory space to keep until its a good time to use

    Well, this should be interesting. I have two (premium) accounts that I currently only have a single character on and I log them in each day for daily dice (silver) and then log off. It has the added benefit of keeping them 'current' for guild bonus purposes. They've been (slowly) acquiring some decent plat. This will have the interesting side effect of possibly letting them level without doing a single quest. Well, I'll see how it goes anyway. It might make me play them instead of leaving them at level 16 (which is the 'sweet spot' for Mabar).

    There was a bug/exploit awhile ago that would have allowed that it was eventually fixed though.

    Wooot! This is awesome. I have been itching to try my luck on the paid gold roll on live but a good chance of throwing away AS on crappy stuff like collectables stopped me.

    Can't wait for this to go live! Finally a good place to spend my shards

    Default One thing to note:

    If you use enough XP stones to level a character (possibly even one) while you are on The Voyage and before you have talked to Thealeh, she will send you straight to the market.

    Also, the XP stones appear to bypass the level-1xp cap. Although when I did so and then tried getting the guide to level me to 20, he tried but I kept getting capped.

    Liking the xp stones. But make them stackable Or have bags for them for easy BTA transfer. Storage space is getting smaller and smaller with each new update.

    These are all good changes, though I would take it one step further for logical sake. Let xp stones of like values stack.
    Spending 5k shards on gold rolls last night I got
    1 +5 int tome
    1 +4 int tome
    ~7 +4 skill tomes of various skills (none of which were umd)
    15 raid bypass timers
    20 superior xp elixiers
    14 superior sibs cakes
    300 gold seal healing potions
    20 potions of death ward
    200 potions of haste
    ~100 collective potions between fire shield hot/cold
    80 potions of greater heroism
    120 bells of opening
    and
    roughly 700k plat

    That is a huge pile of 1k xp stones that would've been nice if they stacked. I reached lvl 11 1/2 on a 20something life character by the time I said screw it and went to bed. So to me the dice still feel weighted for the bottom of the barrel roll winnings. I only rolled 100 twice in roughly 340 rolls
    Veriden, Orien server: Lost count of lives. 3 of all base classes, 3 halfling, 2 gnome...working on trying to make the game work again. May or may not return.

    Makes me wonder by the way, if the list also include the possibility to win an 'essence of cleansing'
    * We have collectable bags, mind you, even hireling folders, but can I have that 6-pack for my potions please?
