When did she get small? She still rudely dispels and casts horrid wilting like a boss; I just feel a bit bad for her physically.

Oh that's sad! I confess I've skipped the quest for quite a few lives (and therefore months).

She definitely used to be huge in Spawn too. I remember wiping on my barbarian, and the whole pug going to the AH to buy magical beast bane weapons for our grand re-entry and ultimate triumph.

When she was first released in the quest she was much larger. These days she shrunk. But I think her size in tangleroot is the same now.

I liked it when she was larger.

It would make more sense if her size was more consistent. Especially considering the cave looks like it was made for a bigger spider.

I remember when I first saw her, I wasn't sure if it was her or one of her annoying progeny.

It was about two years ago at least, when my main was at level. I distinctly remember getting the DM to announce her arrival and looking around, expecting the Tangleroot version. Then I saw my hirelings run around to the other side of a huge rock, and from behind it was what I thought was a Spawn of Whisperdoom. I thought she was still on her way, so I hit the button to bring them back to me and shield me, lol.

That's really disappointing, did she go on a diet? I remember running it when she was huge. The mere sight of this massive spider rounding the corner would send a shiver down your spine. Now she looks like any other Black Widow which is lame.

I've noticed a lot of models have been shrinking now. The Level 25 Artificer dogs used to be huge now they've shrunken back to Iron Defender size. Really disappointing in the model shrinking.
