The newest computer can merely compound, at speed, the oldest problem in the relations between human beings, and in the end the communicator will be confronted with the old problem, of what to say and how to say it. - Edward R. Murrow (1964)
More intrigued and excited by the director then by Depp, truth be told. Moon is simply a fantastic film.
Not immediately put off by it being WoW, but not instantly looking forward to it either. Sure, I'm inclined to think it'll be lame - but then I also remember thinking a past Depp project was going to be one of the stupidest things ever... and it turned out being quite good. So I'll keep an open mind and see what the final project turns out like.

I can't imagine this being good on any level, and I loved Moon and like Depp in most of the things he does.
If they are going to have pandas though, they better give Jack Black a call.

Nice Wanrer Bros doing a WoW movie.
Lag it's what for dinner!
Looking at the history of a WoW movie:

I wouldn't get my hopes up.
The problem is never how to get new, innovative thoughts into your mind, but how to get old ones out. Every mind is a building filled with archaic furniture. Clean out a corner of your mind and creativity will instantly fill it.

It may have Depp but it is unlikely to have Depth.
Still, I am intrigued for now. I'd probably watch it on Netflix sometime in the distant future.
-Anything is possible....if you don't understand the problem.
-Better to be perceived a fool than to open ones mouth and remove all doubt.
-Luck is simply a crossroads between circumstance and knowledge, both are things you can control.
Think it'll be as great as the Dungeons and Dragons movie!?
Or Lord of the Rings...

same warner bross that owns turbine? money is money, and internet broke WB main source of fame(not sure if money, prolly the main source would be merchandising not only films) so they are expanding tentacles to mmorpg
how many years have past since the wow move announcement? maybe 4?5? and with ddo sinking, only WB could decide to pay the film (yes, pay for it, or produce if you prefer) because blizzard has abandoned wow, well done because they have diablo 3 and should focus on it, wow died long ago thx to elitism while grouping(that stops the incoming players, so population isnt renewed, occasionally die)
psykopeta is finally baconpletionist because there isn't anything to delay it more - thelanis, where the gimps claim to be pros and noobs claim to be pros, no newbies allowed(unless they claim to be pros), we have enough drama w/o them. PS: I post only in the latest thread shown in main page, in the weird case u want something from me, feel free to send pm
Speaking of other games that have become movies, did anyone else make the mistake of getting hyped up about the Super Mario Brothers video back in the day? I did. Oops.
Then I made the same mistake for Street Fighter which might take the cake as the worst movie ever made.
I don't have a zerging problem.
I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.
Sadly, even Wreck It Ralph did not live up to what it could have been. I expect better from Pixar.
Wreak It Ralph wasn't Pixar - it was Disney Animation. True, John Lasseter is head of Disney Animation now - but that doesn't mean that they are an extension of Pixar by any means.
Had Ralph been a Pixar project it would have been much better. Had Ralph been made prior to Lasseter taking over, it would have been much worse.
From what I hear - he did. Hopefully the projects that begin fresh under his auspices will have greater quality, but the projects that started before he took over (as did Ralph), the can help improve them as much as he can. But there is only so much he can do before those projects are slated for release.
