price check - tough ring with large slot

picked up a tough ring (of protection +1) min level 16 I think, with a large guild slot, - seemed pretty good, wasn't sure if I should just disjunct and sell the blank or try to sell as is, any thoughts on what this might be worth?

Unless i am totally off base, your only going to sell it as a ring with a large slot. That said it might be worth sitting on for 6 months to a year and see where the price it at, post u17.

That said if you need to dump it now shoot me a pm with your asking price and i might pick it up to sit on.

Toughness is good, but min lev 16 might cut out a lot of potential buyers. The hard part is unless you disjunct it, people will see it in the AH and think the price is inflated for the ring, not looking at the details to see the large slot.

The way I would do it is put in the AH for 72 hours as-is. If it doesn't sell, disjunct and try again.

Price - I'm on G not S, but I have no problem moving large slotted accessories (non weapon non-armor) items for 50k, and TBH some people price them way higher. I have no idea if those items are selling or not. I am happy with 40-50k for large slots.

I'd second Samius' suggestion of sitting on it for a bit, until after u17.

Spoiler alert:

Guild slots won't appear on newly-generated items after u17, but any that exist now will remain. Toughness *may* become less easy to slot.

I think there are way too many good rings to use the slot for toughness only, even with a large slot. Large slots on accessories are only usable for hp or sp, so the main use is while leveling. For endgame there is no use for just toughness on a ring - there are way better items with it in my opinion. But some ppl might use large slots even in endgame, so it might be a good item to sell for crafting, so I agree with Fedora
