thinking about LRing my 12/6/2 into a cleaver

Hi all,

I have a 12 fighter / 6 pally / 2 monk evasion tank (kensai 2 / DoS 1) with dragonmarks and thf feats, hes mainly using chimeras fang but also has tactics feats and tactics gear. Im thinking about LRing him to incorporate cleave which would allow him to fully use the legendary dreadnought destiny.

Which feats should I drop? he got improved shield mastery, all 3 dragonmarks, all 3 thf feats, toughness, active barb past life, improved critical, improved trip, combat expertise, stunning blow, improved sunder, and maybe some more... stats are like 16 str 15 con 14 dex 11 int 13 cha, all lvl ups in str. I got an eFang and an eAGA. I like the use of tactics feats and want to be able to switch between tank and dps by changing destiny. I dont want to TR again.

I think you could easily get rid of a toughness... I don't think you'll miss those 20-something hp.

How much would losing improved trip hurt you? just the extra 4 DC? So you could drop toughness and improved trip and take cleave/great cleave... and then one of the maybe some more?

Barb past life, your intim should be high enough sans elite LoB.

19 feats total (7 base + 1 human + 2 monk + 7 ftr + 2 epic): Toughness or barb PL (both is redundant, IMHO), THF x3, WF/WS/GWS:Slash, Sentinel DM x3, IC:Slash, Power Atk/Cleave/GC/Overwhelming Crit, Shield Mastery & ISM, and either CE+Imp Trip or Stunning Blow+Imp Sunder. But you may want to consider dropping the Sentinel line entirely and switching to an epic dwarven axe, which IIUC overshadows the eFang. I'll let one of the real DPS mavens weigh in on that, though.

EDIT: alternatively, have considered dropping Kensai II and switching to SD II / KotC I? That would let you drop the Kensai pre-reqs.

I was considering dropping the dragonmarks and the barb past life, which leaves me with one feat to get an 1h proficiency. I thought either bsword or a dragonmark since I already got an eFang, but the suggested dwarven axe prof intrigues me. What makes daxe better than bsword? Headmans Chop? But when Im going for S/B, ill probably be an unyielding sentinel most of the time anyway...

I like the kensai II/DoS I split, kensai II has many goodies, especially the action boosts and tactics DCs.

In LD only, because of Headman's Shop. (*Edit: duergar daxe also has a better profile, but can't bypass DR involving 2 elements)
That being said, I still find eFang very useful as it covers 10+15+20% incite, sup. parrying and 50% Fort. in a single item.
