    Default Barb/ranger AA?

    What is the Viability of a Barb AA and if its decent what would be the proposed build
    We have Caused the Death of an Entire Race, Complete Distruction of an Ancent Civilazation, and Sown Discored in the Masses of the World, And we have only just begun

    Used to be viable.

    Not decent anymore.

    Sorry. I don't have access to my desktop at the moment. I'm on my phone. Do a search go "Bowbarian" in the ddo forums. There was a build there. I'm not sure how viable it would be these days though.

    Enhancement:Barbarian Critical Rage II

    Player Entry


    Increases your characters critical threat range by an additional 1, bringing the total increase to 2, with all weapons. This includes ammunition, so ranged weapons actually gain double the benefit.

    Official Removed as of Module 9. Release notes stated: Barbarian Critical Rage I and II can no longer be trained. Characters that currently possess these enhancements will retain them until they reset their enhancements, and these enhancements count as their "Barbarian Specialty".

    I think with epic features and destinies you can fit enough features for a bowbarian with a 12 Barb/6 ranger/ 2 fighter splash like this

    As for epic features can choose between great cleave and Overwhelming critical (take str as raise ability score at lvl 24) or improve critical ranged + one feature (kophesh or stunning blow or quick draw or great cleave maybe). As for epic destinies can use Fury of the wild or shiradi, using twf slash weapons like scimitars or named slashing weapons (oathblade, tinah, etc) or the citw balizarde rapier, able to switch to a powerful manyshot + imp precise shot + slaying arrows + adrenaline + haste/damage boost. Just need a +2 dex tome on a 32 pt build and some patience while leveling until you get enough features to have decent manyshot.
