Default Can anything even keep up with Legendary Dreadnought?

I plan to make an unarmed monk/fighter build for my 8th life. I have yet to experiment with the destinies at all.

Is there any way to keep up with LD's Blitz dps? I really dislike the destiny due to it's simplicity but it seems that any other destiny would be horribly inferior unless I planned to tank(not really my goal).

    Any suggestions?

Blitz is only as useful as your efficiency is to keep it going. Some quests are friendlier to this than others.

If I'm running EE web, I generally loose it very quickly. If I'm running EE detour, then the trash in the area can usually sustain it if I don't get punked while aggroing everything ahead of me =D

I alternate between fury and dreadnaught depending on what I'm running.

    This is good advice... thanks!

I guess blitz doesn't do much for boss fights....

6d6 sneak attack combined with unarmed speed combined with getting sneak attack via stun is brutal.

However, if you think LD is simplistic then Shadowdancer will bore you to tears.

So you're suggesting a H-Elf dark monk is good DPS - but what about choosing a destiny!!

    +1 to you.

Very good advice. Starting to do this myself and am very happy.

I find Shadowdancer to be fairly interesting with active abilities, timing your use of Shadow mark to get your charges up, and using the 100% Dodge, and Displacement active abilities, and using Executioner's Strike...

Although, once you get to 7 charges, it becomes less of an active ED.

It is like going to a museum and bragging about how fast you made it through. Or bragging about how fast you finished a good steak.
