The best part is that haggle doesn't effect repair costs.

Any death that follows, "Hey guys, check this out!"

Or in my case recently, silently wondering what would happen if I stick a handful of crossbow bolts in the backside of that skellie that stands twice my height.

Can't tell how many times I've killed a toon in Durk's Got a Secret by trying to get that chest across from the witch doctor boss that spawns. I know the acid trap is there, but I either think "I can get close enough to open the chest without getting in the way of the acid trap" because I get it confused with the chest in Korthos protected by the acid trap or else I forget I have the quest on hard/elite and the acid does like a zillion points of damage past my resist acid potion.

My hatred of every excruciating second spent in the Crypt of Gerard Dryden causes me to run up super big red alerts.

With full knowledge that it will happen, I then get webbed by black widow spiders or greased by an iron dog, and murdered by dozens of rampaging skeletons.

I was in this guild that had no active members. I was on the guild ship, to get buffs but all the amenities had expired so i said heck with it, I dropped guild.

I then found myself falling (kicked from ship), with no armor (guild level required) and no FF.

    Splat into the Harbor.

Moral: Don't drop guild if you are on their ship.

Waiting for our 6th party member at Ritual Sacrifice entrance. Red bar depleting. Dead.

"Hey guys, can you come get me?".

"Sure, where are you... hmm can't see you on the map."

    "In the Twelve."

    "In the lava?"

The original Everquest saw a variation of this one (of course, I never did it......and even if I did the statute of limitations has run out):

New players were told that, if they targeted an NPC guard and typed "/a"- for "Advice", the guard would help them with whatever they were doing (looking for a particular NPC or location, etc.).

Of course, "/a" was actually "autoattack"......

Yep, did this just recently myself. Forgot to put on feather fall before I jumped down to get the opening quest. At least my barb's armor is clean now.
Once upon a time, I was part of a team, and we saved some children. That was long ago and far away, and, yes, I am that old.

This is possible as long as the trap isnt active. Ie you can loot this chest without setting off said acid trap.
