Default TWFing or Sword and Board?

My pally 18/rogue 2 DoS is currently swinging dual lit 2 khopesh with 36 strength, and improved critical. I run DM III, Zeal and Divine Favor 24/7. I have power attack, but no other damage increases from gear and the like. I wanted to know if twfing is going to have higher dps than sword and board. I have Imp Shield Mastery as well, so I'm getting I think 21% double strike. The toon is currently acting as a tank, so the rogue levels are providing no extra dps. I also have Rogue Haste Boost 1 and Human Damage Boost I active whenever possible. The target is assumed to have 50% fortification. If you need more information, feel free to ask! Thanks in advance!

TWF is higher. The only difference between main hand and off hand is that off hand gets half Strength bonus, so in your case 6 instead of 13, so it's pretty clear that 80% off hand is going to be way, way more than 20% main hand.

With that said, as a tank the survivability from the shield might be more important than the raw DPS increase. That's up to you to decide.

Palis divine sacrifice, smites, divine might etc work for both hands so yes dps is better on a TWF although there is something to be said about survivability too as dead toons do 0 dps.

I just finished TRing a TWF into a Sword n Board. I felt like my TWF did much more damage than the Sword n Board.

If you want DPS go all the way. Dump your shield feats. If you have a shield you need to concentrate on threat gen and defence. Trying to do both is going to make you mediocre. That being said you can get a SB pally DoS in Sentinal destiny with power attack, cleave impr crit, great cleave overwhelming critical, and twist in some things from dreadnaught to make a better contribution without too sacrificing defence, . 18 Pally 2 fighter would be better. If you are staying Rogue levels then 2wf is better, just make sure you can get your dodge to 25% (usually means 2 twists... GMF1 perfect balance and Magister1 Unearthly Reactions and then usually Sentinal1 Brace for impact and going dreadnaught (my choice) or Fury of the wild as your main destiny. You will also need to wear a dress for the dodge you just wont be able to main tank much.

Currently I have him speced as a tank toon who switches to TWFing for trash, or if someone else is chosen to tank. I pull out my shield for when I'm main tanking. Because of this I'm staying as I originally built this toon, at least for this life. For DPS purposes though I agree, and fully plan on being in either LD or FotW next life. Thanks for the advice though!
