for those of you who arent familiar with the tv show Fringe, Massive Dynamic is a (fictional) R&D multinational involved all along seasons.

i was a bit surprised to learn from Boston Dynamics, which isnt fictional at all since it works with/for DARPA (us military)

those guys are creating robots, real ones. One of them is due to feild testing in 2013 in the Marines (the LS3, a carrier dogbot).
