Default A druid monk question for die step

(posted in spell caster part of the forum too but here i think ill get more answers)

I read this in U15 patch one Release note :

Multiclassed Druid/Monks no longer have their monk unarmed damage die overwrite animal form damage dice.

I'm french canadian so my english is not that great and the french version of the release note is soooo poorly translated.

I'm I correct to say that a 12 monk 8 druid in form will get 2.5(1d10) in winter wolf form?
    or
just 1d10 whit no increase to die step.

BTW I don't take in consideration increase in die step other then level of monk to simplify the question, so now ML 20 handwrap or jidz teka and earth stacne/garment of equil. ........

    Thanks

The first answer is correct: Your animal forms now benefit from +[W] you get from any item (Jidz Tet'ka), or EDs (Dance of Flowers). However, what I've heard, you don't benefit from the Monk Past Life active feat.

Of course the trick is in knowing just how to bend the halfling...otherwise they never come back.
