Default Monk hotbars with Epic moves

Hi. I really liked this thread that describes hotbars http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=218730 Epic moves have given us some more buttons to press (such as Lily petals, Everything is nothing, etc...). Has anyone come up with a good configuration? Right now I use f1-f10 and 1-10 (rarely-used monk buttons on another bar to the side). This is all I can handle and I sometime slip. Thoughts? By the way, do all DDO players understand German? The forum is always in that format for me (I took German many years ago so it's ok).

I tried some of the new epic moves last night - lots of fun. I'll keep experimenting and see how it goes.

I have that problem sometimes. I fix it by scrolling down and looking to the left. There's a dropdown that lets you choose the language of the forum.

    My hotbars with epic destinies...
    In GMoF I have 3:

    1) LHS has QP and Stun, RHS has the four GMoF moves. EiN is on another bar for dragging in when primed. As are the ki and healing puffs.
    2) LHS for the four GMoF moves, RHS for stuns.
    3) LHS with DPS moves, RHS for GMoF.

My GMoF attack order is: Lotus, Scattering, Orchid, Lily and the hotbars are arranged that way.

Another quickbar for running in LD:
    4) Haste Boost, QP, SF, FoL, Step (placeholder for Finisher), Void IV, Earth IV, Thick Skinned, Imp Sund, Sund Swing
The other LD innates are on spare hotbars.

When I'm hitting something that can't be stunned or QP'd, I swap Void/QP and Earth/SF.

One hotbar that I set up for running in other destinies that's similar to my LD hotbar.

One hotbar with the four basic monk moves and all the Shintao Light moves and the Finisher I swap into the other 3 bars when I don't want to accidentally Abundant Step or want to use a Finishing move.
    Stay Hasted My Friend.

I prefer to use the number pad to the right for some and I hot keyed my right cntrl, app, and window button for attack/ special moves.

    Attack- windows
    Quivering palm- rt cntrl
    App- lily
    0 button- stun
    1 button-tod
    2 scatter
    3 ein
    4-6 mountain strikes
    7 special
    8 fury rage clicky
    9 ghostly clicky

    F1-f10 is for weapons.

    Works for me.

Personal preference...N52TE and Razer Naga Epic (or the logitech version...buttons look easier to learn). The combination gives a huge number of accessable keys, all of which can be programed as multi key macros. Much easier to hit monk combos.

Just started to level gmof. So far, I hotkeyed [alt] zxcv as elemental strikes, q for stun fist, alt+q for qp, [alt] e for void 3/4, r for touch of despair, alt+r for touch of death. All of those are easily accesible to my left hand around wasd.

Still need better spots for finisher, gmof abilities, and other often used or emergency buttons. Currently using my right hand for these (laptop with mousepad): [alt] , (comma) and . (period) for lilly petal, orchid blossom, shadow fade, and curse pot. 1 or H is finisher, alt+h is sf pot, shift+alt+h is wholeness of spirit heal, n is abundant step.

I have hot-keyed the bars themselves.
    "Alt" brings up Bar 3
    "Fn" brings up Bar 4
    "`" brings up Bar 5

And 6-8 (slots, not bars) are mapped to "Button 2 + 1-5"
This gives 30 slots easily used in combat without moving from ASWD position.

Bar 3 is oft used abilities (elemental strikes, unbalancing strike, SF, etc.)
Bar 4 is longer cooldowns (FoD, Petals, etc.)
Bar 5 is buffs and defensive abilities (Meld into Darkness, Wholeness of Spirit Icon, etc)

Takes some mental overhead to remember where everything is tho.

EiN gets its own special hotkey
