DPS Gear for a THF Pure fighter

Hi,

I am new to the whole epic thing and would like some help regarding gear for a DPS THF pure fighter.
Please exclude TOD and Sands gear from the suggestions if possible.

First off a weapon: I love my Epic Antique Greataxe, it's easy to get and has an amazing base damage of 2[1d20] along with righteous and metaline allowing you to use it as a general purpose DR breaker. Seal drops from epic snitch, shard drops from epic big top. The base item drops from the end reward of the carnival chain. The scroll can drop in any quest from that chain.

An armor: http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Epic_Deneith_Heavy_Chain is a pretty safe bet. covers false life, gets you some decent DR, can be slotted for heavy fort and ofcourse the amazing +15 to trip. It's a medium armor however so you won't get full PRR.
Alternatively the PDK armor is pretty decent.

PDK gloves are very good considering the amount of work it takes (what an hour in the forrest with some luck?) and the helm isn't bad either.

Seal of dun robar (spelling?) with stunning +10 or shatter +10 is a great item for your ring slot.

You should also get seeker slotted, bloodstone used to be the place to do it, but there's a trend in MotU where seeker apparently goes on goggles. This free's up the trinket slot for either the cove trinket (exceptional seeker + damage!), the planar focus, sustaining symbiont or a swapable pale lavender ioun stone.

Sneak attack wich used to go on goggles can be slotted on cloak http://ddowiki.com/page/Drow_Piwafwi or possibly ring http://ddowiki.com/page/Seal_of_House_Avithoul since you're not planning on using ToD rings.


This isn't the perfect setup, but it IS a fairly effective one with the added bonus of being farmable SOLO or being bought.
Oh and it makes me happy to see someone going for a DPS fighter and not another stalwart.

Trinket: Greater Bold
Goggles: Druid set
Armor: PDK set
Cloak: Adamantine Cloak of the Bear
Gloves: PDK set
Belt: Greensteel HP -Smoke(permablur)
Ring1: Seal of Dunrobar (whatever stat, 10 stunning)
Ring2: Seal of Avithoul (2 dex)
Boots: Madstone -upgraded
