You could argue it is worth, at maximum, the value of the components you get from it. Assuming a double shard tier 3 item that would be:

0-2 LDS (200kpp per)
2-3 Stones (100kpp per)
2-3 Shrap (100kpp per)
2-3 Arrows (50kpp per)
2-3 Chains (50kpp)
2-3 Bones (30kpp)
and about 7 or so med/smalls. (10kpp each)
Plus the blank. (which is 4-5 pebbles/twig/funk and 4-5 petals/husks/fungi) 150-200kpp for the blank.

on the larges, assuming you get 1 scale, its worth 200+200+200+100+100+60= 860kpp on the larges alone. add 200kpp for the med/smalls and the blank and its about 1.1mill range. As a maximum. In that range you are better off hitting the AH or doing private trades. And you can get some crappy rolls on the larges. I've dopant'd a double shard and go no LDS and 1 stone. That would make it worth 800kpp, max, in a hurry.

I'd place a safe value at 700-750kpp. Nobody's getting screwed, nor making out like a bandit. Unless you get some really nice dice rolls when you use it.

Who cares about the trophies... not having to farm out a 2nd ring is worth oooooooooooooodles. If i wanted to change the effect on my ToD ring i would easily drop a milly on this so i didn't have to farm out a new ring. Worth every penny.
