Cannot earn Guild Renown

A group of 6 of my friends and I started a new guild around 300 am (-4 GMT) and so far to this point none of us have received any guild renown rewards. We have not gotten any renown in chests, end rewards, or random renown. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so what did you do to fix it?

Renown isn't a guaranteed drop, and the chances of getting it decrease sharply when you're over the quest level (can't recall the exact formula, but think it was something like a 20% chance at-level and decreasing by 4% for every level you're over). Heroic Deeds and Tales of Valor can drop pretty much anywhere, but I've noticed the Impressive Trophies and Legendary Victories don't seem to start dropping until you get up into the mid- to upper-level quests.

If you and your guildies have run a fair number of quests at or below level and still haven't gotten renown, you might try logging out and back in. I know if a toon gets promoted to officer, they won't be able to invite new members until they've relogged. Maybe something similar applies here.

I know guild renown will not always drop. I know I did 3 epic hard Caught in the Web raids, 2 epic hard DQ1, and Lords of Dust and got no renown, from any of the chests, randon rewards, or end rewards. The other people had the same problem, the quests in the drow city they received no renown rewards. While I don't expect to always get renwon, I find it strange to play for 6 hours and not receive even a single renown point.

Well my guild reached level 73 yesterday then dropped to 72.
Around 11p we were 73 again.
At 0615 eastern this morning we lost level again.
One run of Raiding the Giant's Vault got us level again.
So I think it may have been a glitch in the game overnight.
Before the last hotfix "Game Break fix" our decay would hit around 0900 eastern in the morning.

yes, there was some kind of glitch. We havn't gained any the past few days and have been taking harsher than normal decay hit, prolly part of what the hot fix is. Even when taking renown as end rewards, we wouldn't gain it in our bar. Hopefully it's being sorted out now.
