    I am asking about not using hirelings as:
    1.) cost money
    2.) they scale the Dungeon up (or so i understand they do)
    3.) they are stupid, I mean they do stupid things... Oh i am in a the middle of a blender trap, I will heal myself... ohhh i keep getting hit by the blender blades, I will heal myself... does this till out of mana and then dies.

    So the vampirism shards are worth it or not? I might go Helf for last life as I want to do Dark monk, (Horcus build) next.

    1) less expensive then pots
    2) Less then another player
    3) user error

    Vampiric stuff is personal preference, some will swear by, others will swear at. I quite like mine.

    1 - they cost a few PP, but often work out far cheaper than multiple potions
    2 - only a little bit, and its still effected by scaling since you've got less than 4 people in the party.
    3 - ....yeah they are pretty dumb park them somewhere safe & just call them to you after fights, they should teleport directly to you.

    Vampirism shards are great, especially if you get the "full" shards rather than lesser vampirism, with some decent healing amp you'll be getting a constant stream of incoming HP. Also good thing to note with cleric dilly is you always have 100% success chance with wands even before u get the mighty Heal scrolls... dont worry too much about the cost, just turn in collectables to get free ones!
    I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

    I dont use them myself as I find them annoying and unneeded but thats me, I group when I can and solo when I have to now my other characters may or may not need a hireling but monk hasnt not even on her first life.
