Is it possible to only focus on doing negative levels with zero dps and contribute to the party?
Bracers of the Demon Consort?
staff of shadows?
Enervation?
Circle of Death?
Necrotic Ray?
Energy Drain?
Symbol of Death?

Yes, but you could contribute a lot more using the rest of your bag of tricks: instant kills, CC, direct damage, buffs.

-Staff of Shadows is regrettably a shadow (har!) of what it once was, you're better off with almost any Thaumaturgy staff.
-Enervation is Energy Drain's little brother, especially as a PM you are (or should be) too tight on level 4 slots to keep it.
-Symbol of Death is underrated.
-Summons are properly rated.

You have so many spell slots and the necessary build is so synergistic with instant kills that I think you would have to try to only use negative levels.

Add instakills and CC on top and sure, you wont ever need DPS to contribute well to any group.
