    Default 36 Point Pally Build (Feedback please!)

    Just made a pally build for my main, pretty straight forward and simple i think, main thing was i wanted a little feedback on stat selection/feat choice/enhancements. Main aim is a DPS build, starting out with Hunter of the Dead (Shield Mastery at 15 due to). Tanking, possibly? Not sure, but taking the DoS for more HP/STR. Any feedback appreciated. Intim should be able to hit about 50 or so easily (not planning on an intim build either) and UMD should be around 30+.

    Can you confirm that Paladin Divine Might stacks with Defender of Siberys stance, as I am curious since both give Sacred bonuses and last I recall, same type of bonuses do not stack?

    Also, you may want to reconsider Paladin Toughness III and get Racial Toughness II so you can re-allocate some other points to get Weapons of Good.

    And since you are DoS, there is no real need for the Extra Lay of Hands III since you will, most of the time, be healed by the party healer and with the Unyielding Sovereignty that heals, you may want to reallocate the points to something else, may Bullwark of Good IV ?

    Thoughts?

    Divine might gives a sacred bonus to damage, defender stance gives a sacred bonus to strength which indirectly increases damage. Because of this they stack.

    When you get some epic levels, I question the need for anything beyond toughness 1. You'll have plenty of HP and your AP has 10 other places that you will love to spend it.

    Weapons of Good is on the list, and i suppose that the toughness enhancements could be drops (wasnt thinking epic destiny) and i couldnt tell if you were saying unyielding sov heals, or i should get rid of it, but if u were saying the later, it is required for DoS 3. but thanks for the feedback!

    I've done on my Horc paladin:
    L1 - toughness,
    L3 - tower shield,
    L6 - power attack,
    L9 - cleave,
    L12 - greater cleave,
    L15 - improved crit: slashing,
    L18 - weapon focus: slashing.

    Starting stats were the same.
    At 4,8 and 12 - level up into STR - with +2 tome you get base 23 str.
    At 16 and 20 - level up into CHA. With +2 tome you get base 20 cha.

    Goal:
    1. Get overwhelming critical at 21,
    2. Dreadnought epic destiny.

    I hope it works out as a cleaver build.

    Also, I should be able to get Divine Might IV. But, I'm not sure if it's worth it.

    I will start with few more INT to take the Combat Expertise instead of the past life feat or greater two handed weapon feat. If you are going to fight with two handed weapons, then why taking shield mastery? I would also drop Empower Healing Spell and will take Cleave, Great Cleave, Weapon Focus: Slashing (at level 21), Overwhelming Critical (at level 24). Toughness enhancements are waste of APs for a AP starve PrE like DoS. IMHO Exalted Smite and Divine Sacrifice is far more important for DPS focus Pallys.

    Tower shield for situations where AC is needed. It helps sometimes...
    I'll also stay that way until U15 when and if new prestiges come.

    Overwhelming crit at 21 to get it sooner and have fun.

    More Divine Sacrifice. Maybe drop some toughness for it.
