Default Winter's Bite - Damage too low

So I just got ninth circle spells and was considering a bit.. Winter's Bite adds 1d10, which is decent, but it's cold, which many things resist/reduce. I went back and looking at the first level spells. It occured to me that Magic Fang and even Shilleleigh (since the dev post said it allegedly works while in animal form?) would both be comparable if not better than winter's bite.

By level 16 or 20 Magic Fang is +4/+5, which is a flat always-there damage, versus the 1d10 cold that will oft be resisted. Maybe winter's bite should add some slashing or untyped damage, to make it worth casting?

Also, magic fang affects the enhancement bonus of shields, so +4 on a shield means 4 more AC from that.. way better than winter's bite!

edit: Also- Snowslide.. maybe rename to Avalanche? Snowslide sounds fun, rather than an awesome ninth-circle spell!

Druid is seriously underpowered with respecs to melee damage.
At higher level group play, the best option for a druid is to equip the Terror sword from Mindsunder, yeah stuff the penalty to hit, at least you get a chance to actually kill something that will not take 2 minutes and burn through all your heals as you chip away with your awesome powerful 20-30dps a hit.

Yes folks, 42 strength and base damage is 30-50dps if you are lucky.
Wisdom builds with fire sword, forget it. Your better off using offensive spells. Fire sword is so gimp and get this, Druids right, can change into animals, elementals but can only summon a fire sword? *** happened to the ice sword or acid sword. Fire sword........... good for healing golems I suppose.

GIMP !!! GIMP !!! GIMP !!! May as well add Pandas and be done with it.

The dev over in the thread which clarified some of the what works in animal form and what doesn't said specifically the fire swords wis aspect does NOT carry over to animal form, which is what my thread here is addressing. I understand that apparently later on the druid melee, animal form or not, isn't too snazzy, which is why I put this suggestion here to make some proper adjustments
