Khyber PUGs?

Well, in that eLoD run we were 3 arcanes, I think, that's how sad it actually was. I know I've played terribly there as I've died like 4 times on the way and then was too frustrated to really do anything (I don't know eLoD much as all the runs I was in on Thelanis were basically run to the end, guild sorc has already cleared the way and my chars have enough hp to survive the traps, so I didn't need to bother with them). Actually, I think, I only lowered my playskills to match the other party members and the result was that awful run.

Maybe good players here don't run any of these epics, so if I join "easy" epic, I'll just find 5 other unequipped characters who don't know much about quest ahead. And the results are what I see.

I find that for what your comparing it really does not match up. The pug scene can be ok but is flavored with a mix of exasperrated vet trying to teach which slows things down.

The people that run epics fast and easy do not bother with LFMs' most the time they would rather just go with what ever friends they have available and short man if something is missing.

IMO in easy epics like Lords of Dust it is really up to the Arcanes to push the speed of the run, although many melee/fvs will also do this.

Agree. I had epic Big Top when people didn't want o fight in my web, didn't want to follow me. I like rushing but sometimes you cannot rush alone(dance and command and other * like this). I think they were new to this epic.

As someone who originally came from another server then played on Khyber and Thelanis I have to say that I enjoy Thelanis much more than Khyber. Perhaps it's changed since I haven't played on Thelanis in months. I'm not sure if my data is skewed but I know I enjoyed Thelanis quite a bit more than I am currently enjoying Khyber. I've thought about transferring my main to Thelanis several times, but I don't play enough anymore to really care all that much.

Tip #1 for eLoD: avoid groups that 'need a trapper'
Tip #2 for eLoD: avoid groups that have been up longer than 30 seconds but aren't labeled as IP

Simple leveling rules that also apply to this epic since it's so easy (and to other epics as well, I've seen eBoB LFMs looking for trappers lolz). You could also generally apply it to all epics (since really good players are IP as soon as they make up their minds to run a quest, and traps are never an issue), but that'd be prolly a bit much.
