Hate farming undead on my pm. UtD has a max of like 5 kills per cast ( edit: wiki doesn't say anything about this, still think I'm right though, anyone confirm?) and nuking is so slow (even halted).


Stacking several (different) aoe's might be an idea though. hmm...

I've found farming eVoN5 goes faster on a Favored Soul than Wizard, if you have one of those. Alternate Implosion and Blade Barrier kiting and it goes pretty fast, with the shrine for when you're done. Pop into eVoN3 or 4 and check a chest for a seal and repeat ad nauseam.

On the other hand, if you don't have a capped FvS or are just set on wizzie scroll farming, eVoN1 is friendlier I think. Toast through everything you find till you run out of mana, the only real worries are having to nuke the mino boss near the start and the chance of being mobbed if you're not careful by the cleaving trolls.

Killing the first 9, shrine, repeat is going to be all weaker characters can reasonably handle. Once you get more gear and more practice, though, you can get better kills per minute running the marketplace. Check out Zonixx's videos.

Did you read my post? I am killing in the market place, just frustrated at the ammount of scrolls ive been getting doing that compared to the start where I have gotten close to 90% of my scrolls so far even though around 75% of my kills have been in the market place. Yeah I do find it ironic getting a quest optional in epic lol. I use both shrines in the market, normally the one furtherest away first then ddoor out. I normally have well over 1000 sp after dispatching those guys in the first fight, I think 1500 was the most ive had. Practice though is key, when I first started I would often have fewer than 400 sp after killing the first 10 mobs.

Seconded, i'm averaging 120-130 kills total per run atm and pretty much all my scrolls come from marketplace trash.

I'd find it less funny if you weren't so clearly and obviously twicked about your "accomplishment" of collecting desert scrolls being able to be replicated by other people.

This is one I love to farm...if your DCs are good, you can easily get to the boss...recall, shrine, get a reset, repeat, profit.

In addition, after a few runs of scroll farming (to the point where you're tired of the quest), you can probably finish the boss by yourself just to be able to say you soloed an epic. :P

Other than that, I recommend getting several methods for farming a quest and/or figuring one out yourself, and using whatever method is easiest/quickest....after all, you're not really scroll farming for the challenge, you just want a bunch of quick kills so you CAN get your scroll.

Round them all up. Web or Halt Undead. Undeath to Death + Acid Rain + Ice Storm + Undeath to Death, etc...

Yeah. Though I'd rather just drop a dbf or something than the UtD if dps'ing down enemies. UtD for stragglers

Zombies usually come at you in groups of five in VoN 5, so it takes a bit of dodging/webbing/halting.

Long cooldown though, same as Wail or CoD.

Yup, sticking to von1 on my wiz. 42-43 necro works decently but everything has high fort saves, takes some debuffing. And care not get triple hit for 70-90 a swing by too many mobs at the same time :-P

Usually just invis past the minos.
