Must-haves before TR'ing?

What I have:

Quorforged Docent
Torc
Bauble
Skiver
Epic CC dagger
Conc Opp SP goggles + Triple Earth HP bracers
Lvl 98 crafting to make any greater focus items I need

What I am lacking:

ToD rings
+3 tomes (of any sort)
Any other significant epic or raid gear

So, is there anything I should hold TR for? Any items I can easily farm?

I would say get your Yugo Favor and horde a bunch of Desire and maybe Cunning potions if you can get you fort high enough.

Plan on doing any Abbot runs on your next life before cap.....make a GS Fire Absorption item.

Maybe just do one quick ransack of the General's chest in the Sands and see if you get lucky and get a SS Ring......I do have to warn you tho you will easily make 40-50 trips to that chest location as he spawns very rarely.

Just grab four different hirelings, use DDoor to set Wiz King as your teleport spot and reset the instance by dismissing your hireling inside the quest and summoning a different one......instance will be reset when you step out.

You should really make a +3 exc INT GS sceptre too...that was one thing I really regretted not having on my first Wiz TR...also get the Archmagi/Spell Pen Iuon Stone and upgrade it. The +6 INT Ioun Stone is nice to have as well...+6 INT at level 5 is nice and Spell Pen is worthless at lower levels so you won't need the Archmagi Stone on after you buff and maybe use a couple spells.
