    Default Full-Party-In-One Cleric (gimp included!)

Well, I'm back with a new build for a new age of DDO. This is NOT similar to the Valiance builds by any means, just to get that out of the way. This build is also NOT RECOMMENDED FOR NEWCOMERS, as you do need quite a bit of in-game DDO knowledge to use this build to full capacity. The build goes as...

    Code:
Character Plan by DDO Character Planner Version 03.12.01

This is an extreme multipurpose build whose only real weak point is no conversation skills. I'll list the pros and cons first before discussing

    PROS:
    -Moderately High AC
    -Full Healing Capacity
-Full Weapon Range (Repeater far, Any weapon mid, Fists close)
-Bonus 20% damage to Blade Barrier (Enhancement)
-Slightly more SP than normal (You get 100 bonus SP for first level of any Spellcaster class, like Artificer)
    -High Saves
    -Evasion
-Epic Trap&Door skills (Full Search, Full Disable, 10 points in Open Lock)
    -Full UMD capacity
-Functional Spot (10 points in Spot)
    -No Skill Penalties from Armor
-Access to all non-exotic weapons and shields (Master's Touch)
    -Monk Stances
-Additional +2 to UMD check for scrolls
-High Crit Range for Slashing Weapons (Sword of Shadows! Falchions, Scims, etc)
    -Run & Gun capability
-Free Gimp Doggy (for those moments where you need hirelings to press a switch elsewhere)
-No restriction on at-level Artificer Spell Scrolls (UMD-less Reconstruct)
-Scrolled Mass Remove Curse (not tested yet, but use Arti Spell and Remove Curse Bottle)
    -Customizable and Adjustable play style

    CONS:

-Moderate HP (no Toughness Feat or HP enchancements)
    -No Talk Skills
-38~40 HP doggy (-100 SP upon doggy death)
    -Low Spell DCs
    -No Divine Intervention

This build was specifically and originally designed to counter every single drawback of a PUG party. While the build does not excel in areas outside of Heal and Traps, it is still a force to be reckoned with. You will have pages and pages of equipment, each to adapt to any and every situation encountered. It has multiple methods of soloing: AC Melee, Run-and-Gun, Spell casting, Evasion Spell Absorber. This character can practically wear anything with the exception of a few Exotics (Dwarven Axe, Khopesh, Bastard Swords), and can use them all with exceptional efficiency; with fists, TWF, THF, and a repeating crossbow at the ready there's no enemy (that isn't hidden behind some sort of wall/barrier) that you can't reach. Plain Clothing, Lightly Armored, Fully Armored, (Legend of Zelda) Link Cosplaying, all can be done to adapt to any situation (Light Armor for Rogue Bonuses, Shields and heavy for DR bonuses, etc).

With a full-party-in-one build, it would not be complete without a gimp of some sort. And here we introduce the dumb little doggy. It comes with features such as running through traps, attacking the wrong mob, breaking explosive barrels, no fortification, absolutely no HP, AND it comes with the full capability of taking away 100 SP at its death to further simulate that "carrying a gimp through a quest" experience. Not sure if a chest is trapped? Not sure if walking through that quiet hall will be your last? Get that itching feeling that something is going to pop out in front of you if you take a step further? Don't remember where that trap you can't spot was? Explosive Barrels blocking your way? Just send the gimped doggy! It even has that one special function of running away with your soul stone and getting into that switch/door locked shrine! Get your dumb little doggy today!

Take all Smiting lines 1-4 for Divine Punishment and critical smiting lines 1-3. Even DPS or ranged Divines without decent Divine Punishment ticking off in background is a gimp toon.

You should take Force Manipulation 1 for 20% to your Blade Barriers. This is in game and I think the Char Gen is still wrong. Decent BB with you in the middle swinging, shooting and bursting is nice.

Try to take Wand/Scroll Mastery 1-2 - for Raid healing when u hang back and heal spell/heal scroll/mass heal the tank.

Missing Toughness enhancments. Tier 1 is a must have. Cheap HP.

Others to consider Greater Adapt CON (depending on gear)

    Level 20 (Cleric)
    Enhancement: Artificer Crossbow Damage I

    my ideas for your build,

lower int and con, raise wisdom and put your levelups in it.

gain higher stun dc, spell dc, ac. at the cost of maybe 40 hp.

epic traps can be done with 4 ranks into search and 12 into disable. aslong as your geared right.(+6 int skills greensteel etc). which i guess is easy to obtain for a 3rd life.
this allows full ranks into umd.

"to do epic traps your going to need 52 search and 57 disable, see what your gear allows you to have on ranks before dropping under this line"

drop extent or improved slashing for toughness, since i have a feeling you want more hp then 450(gearwise posible with 10 con / no toughness)

    goodluck on your build

Maybe swap out extend for toughness. You don't need extend at high levels.

Divine Power comes on items. All u lose is a few hit points by not casting it with a spell and using an item with it instead. Divine Favor is even. Both are cast quickly without quicken if u hot key them. As for the other spells just cast them for boss fights on the whole group.

    Fix:
    - Force enhancement is available at level 2 artificer
    - fists and melee weapons have same range iirc
    - you only get the 100 SP once, regardless of amount of casting classes
    - only wands can be used without restriction, reconstruct will have to be UMD'd

    Points:
    - level 1 doggy with invisibility, passive mode and breaker of boxer enhancement is free ransack XP
    - Cleric spell find traps and gear should let you shave off a few points of int for higher wisdom

I'd possibly go 3 monk, 2 artificer on this sort of build.

One lvl of Arcane and one lvl of divine gets u Force Manipulation 1. Been discussed on the forums recently. If u look at description it is actually based on race and not class, so many are wondering about that. Heck I thought that was the reason for this build when I clicked on this thread.

Afaik you need 2 levels of wizard or artificer to get force I but only 1 level of sorcerer. I'd be happy to be proven wrong but please provide a SS.

Yes 1 tier is all that opened for me with 1 level of wizard. But, it was enough to hit 300+ dmg at basically level 14 cleric. My level 14 cleric on another server is only getting 240 ish blade barriers with a greater potency stick of course and no enhancement. So I am get 30% more from the superior potency and enhancements with just 1 level of wizard and I have the same SP and I do not notice a difference in my cures/heals.

Not sure about ART, but looks like just one lvl of WIZ from what this guy built.

The compendium is quite clear on the issue - force manipulation is available to lvl2 characters of any race, but prerequisite is lvl1 sorc, wiz or arty.

As far as the build is concerned, what is its actual purpose? Levelling and TRing or staying at endgame? You mention pages and pages of equipment, but do not provide any notable equipment list, a basic list of gear you are aiming for is something you need to consider when planning a character.

What past lives is it supposed to have, since its a 3rd lifer?
How high is "moderately high AC"?
    Why IC: Slashing?
Stances are fun, but you know that equipping any non-monk weapon (aka repeater) will decenter you, throw you out of stance and strip you of all your ki, right?

And no toughness, well, not a good idea in general, especially coupled with mediocre con. On a high-AC, high-saves build it doesnt matter that much I suppose, Im just not sure yours is that kind of a build.
Youve got an extreme stat spread and low HPs, IMHO it would be best to forget strength and bump either dex, wis or con.

Another con you forgot to mention is non-existent concentration, enjoy scroll healing interruptable by every scratch you get and the need to quicken absolutely everything with some 1700-ish SP pool.

In short, you dont provide that much information, but from what youve presented, I cant say the build is all that powerful in any aspect. If its supposed to be a fun levelling build, well, maybe, but the DPS wont be that great, so soloing might get frustrating at times. As for grouping, it brings a bit of healing, trap skills and a bit of DPS. OK for 6-man parties, but I cant see it happening in hard/leet/epic raids. Even some stretched-out 6-man fights will be a pain for you to heal, eDeeps demon comes to mind.
Con is not a dump stat, but reading comprehension is not a dump skill!

I dont have alts, just mules. Find me as Darivian on Thelanis.

I thought using scrolls that are higher level than yours in an given class required a check based on level? Meaning it would prob be easier to umd an arti spell that is lvl 6 than cast it with only 1 level in arti?

I think technically in this case 2 checks will be made:
CL check: 100%-5% for 1 level under-10% for each extra level under=0% (in this case)
    UMD check: ...

This gives an 85% success rate on elemental weapons scrolls and 55% success rate on Adamantine weapon scrolls. Somewhat useful overall.

Here's your SS. The enhancement line acts as a racial line, rather than a class line in that taking both arti and wizard doesn't give you two choices. Rank II is supposed to open up at level 4, but it doesn't, so there is a hidden pre-req probably based on caster levels.

Awesome, thanks for the test, this makes a couple of other build ideas a bit more interesting.

Human cleric pro tip. Jack up your healing amp and you will be in much better shape then going for ac because you can use healing amp anywhere whereas ac is really just useful in raids and some easier content. My cleric's aura while in fire stance with epic jidz heals my cleric for 67 per tic when in water stance its over 50 per tic.
