An eardweller will give you 3x1 minute clickies of 100% potency.

Arcane lore or laceration lore (only available on weapons crafted via the Cannith raids) will increase the chance and amount of critical damage.

A higher evocation DC via higher wisdom and evocation focus items/feats will reduce the chance that a target will save for half (or no) damage.

    That's about it.

Artificers can take enhancements for untyped damage to boost blade barrier, but divine casters can not (other than the AoV prestige which you mentioned already).

Does AOV come into play? I thought that was purely for light damage. BB is improved by force or laceration. Since Clr/FvS don't get the Force enhancements (like an Artificer does) I think you are pretty much capped at Potency/Max/Emp.

Does superior laceration (50%) stack with potency (50%)then?

No. The highest level of static potency you can get is 50%. An eardweller clicky will give you 100%, which also does not stack with potency, but will give you a temporary boost.

AoV boosts untyped/physical and fire damaging spells; NOT light spells.
Smiting line boosts alignment and light spells; NOT blade barriers.

    Laceration won't stack with potency.

AoV enhancements do not increase your light damage at all. They increase fire, physical and untyped damage. The guard effect from the aura increases vulnerability to light, but the damage enhancements themselves (20% at first tier 30% at second tier) to not.

This is not entirely correct. Blade barrier is improved by laceration, but not by force. Artificer and Wiz/Sorc enhancements group these two together, these enhancements affect BOTH force AND untyped. But effects such as superior impact, or kinetic lore affect only force. They will not increase blade barrier damage.

You can think of these as similar to how Life Magic enhancements for clerics increase postive and negative energy healing/damage. However an ardor clicky will only increase positive, and a nihl clicky will only increase negative. Some enhancements increase two different types of magic, but the clickies and lore effects are single type only (other than efficacy and arcane lore).

potency doesnt stack with specific spell-boosting effects. best blade barrier would be:

    (Base 100%+Eardweller 100% + Arti force line 50%)(Base 100%+Maximize 100%+Empower 50%) = 6,25 x 15d6 = 562 damage on a non-crit.

For Fvs its 5,75 x 15d6 = 517 on a non-crit. Crit chance and crit multiplier are a bit lower than arti.

Right, right. Verbiage issue I was talking about character enhancements, ala the Force enhancement lines, and not item based enhancements, such as Kinetics. I should have been more clear.

Cool cool, though it might be something like that
You'd be surprised though how many people are running around how there using superior impact VI clickies and thinking they are increasing their BB damage!
