    Default Cleric/fvs?

Hi. I'm interested in building a fvs at some point after collecting enough favor. But I'm curious, is it possible to get the radiant servant enhancement for a fvs through multiclassing with a cleric? E.g. if I start off with one level cleric and then go fvs the rest of the way? And would it then be a bad idea to go for both radiant servant and the fvs's Angel of Vengeance (since they're a bit contradictory)? Would a fvs even need radiant servant, since it already has a lot more sp than a cleric?

1 lvl of a class is not enough for their PRE. Youd need 6 lvls of cleric for RS1. It would however cost you a lot of SPs when compared to a pure FvS, and FvS capstone is one of the most useful ones in the game IMHO, making FvS rather multiclass-unfriendly. 6/14 CLR/FvS might be an interesting flavor build, but I doubt it would be very effective.
Con is not a dump stat, but reading comprehension is not a dump skill!

I dont have alts, just mules. Find me as Darivian on Thelanis.

ok. Yes, too many levels of cleric would probably cost in sp? So, my idea wasn't very good (fvs for sp, cleric for radiant servant).

Hate tank? Hmm... Why would I need the fvs then?

Someone playing fvs said they miss the cleric's radiant aura and I was just wondering if it's possible to get both

It's usually a bad idea to splash a caster class with another caster class.

    Common class breakdowns
    1. some cleric and some monk - clonks
    2. 18FvS/2monk - evasion + feats
    3. 18FvS/2Pal - saves

Why you'd probably want to go pure
    1. cleric capstone (here)
    2. favored soul capstones (here)
Note the prerequisites on the FvS enhancements; you will need a number of FvS levels and some feats to get them.

    On the divine tank
A more viable divine tank build (not recommended unless you have a good item and resource pool): 12FvS/6Pal/2Monk

And about missing the aura, well, FvS have wings.

    Cheers.

    oh, I want the wings

Maybe I'll just go pure then.

Oh, btw. why would one mix cleric or fvs with monk?

    Evasion
    2 Feats
Stunning Fist (which works with wisdom)
    Water stance for +2 wisdom
    Handwraps use

Monk is a very good splash for a lot of classes. For divines it's even better since both divines and monks gain a lot from wisdom.

Edit: And really if you want to build a caster FvS, stay pure. Capstone is really too good to skip.

ok. Yes, I think I'm gonna build a pure fvs, then. I believe divines work better as offensive casters than melees (although I'm sure they can be ok at melee as well).

Look for an Evoker build then you will like it.

Agree. My TR caster's Cleric/Monk life has been the most fun and easiest divine life I've ever done. Stunning Fist with good handwraps made the slog from level 1 to 12 WAY more enjoyable. Also note that a Monk splash gets you viable AC for a rather long time, which helped make Elite Bravery Chrono a lot less draining.
