Issue with signature

Signatures whose race and/or class contain a "[v]" are broken.

I hadn't noticed this on artificer but I had on elves...and here I thought it was intentional to specify valenar elves v. aerenal based on racial enhancements selected.

Any progress on this? I shut off DDO sigs on other sites long ago when they were buggy, but I'm considering disabling it on the DDO forums as well--I get embarrassed for Turbine every time I see the red error box.

I officially gave up and turned off the character sig. Even if it's fixed this week, there is no guarantee it will stay fixed.

My sig does not work too. Sorc, Fighter, Rogue, only the Pali works… They are all elves, except the Pali (human).

Any update on this? Have an Elf FVS/Monk and human Artificer that are still broken.

You pretty much got it right here. (and a very well-constructed post, I might add!)

Signatures whose race and/or class contain a "[v]" are broken. A recent update seems to have removed the code that strips that off before the signature is generated, so the signature generator essentially can't find the information for that race/class.

I imagine we'll be looking at this very soon.

so that would explain why you cant generate a paladin signature...?

Your Pali works? Ive nvr been able to get my Pali to generate without an error

Yes she works, you can see my current signature now. Thats the only toon I can get to correctly display. I believe because of being a Human. I tried other toons on other servers, and as I love elves, none of them work. Except the only 2 human toons I have (paladin on Ghalanda and a human barbarian favor toon on another server), are the only ones that I can get a signature preview.

Um, this has been a known issue for over half a year now and was first reported 9 months ago. Isn't it time that it gets worked on?

Mine broke when the forum software was updated a week or two ago. Just tried all of my toons and MisterBill is the only one that works - and it has to be left at all of the default settings, change any of them and it goes to the sig error.
