Default Plays a ranger in game and in real life!

People who know me in game know that I play my ranger as my main, and I play him well.
What they don't know (and is the reason of my absence recently in DDO) is that I shoot precision air rifle and 3-position smallbore rifle as a sport. Recently (as in this weekend) I shot the JORC (which is the reason for me posting this, out of excitement), junior olympic rifle championship. For the state I reside in I am placed 6th in both for men's. I'm a high school student and was competing against the other high schools and 4 college students.
Shooting a personal best of 562 out of 600 in precision air was a great feeling beating my personal best by 16 points and felt like it was worth posting. The 549 out of 600 in 3 position smallbore was ok, beating a personal best by 3 points.

Sorry if it feels like I'm just taking up forum space, but I felt like it was worth posting

Hopefully I'll start seeing everyone in game again soon

I've tried archery, and I enjoy it, but I'm not the most physical person in the world, so for me to be better at it I'd need to work on upper body strength to improve my draw strength. It's in the list to do though

A lot of the modern composite bows have such draw reduction in them that it's ridiculous and makes it rather easy. The new fangled bows (ok not so new, but newer) also look a lot different than what you would expect a compound bow to look like too.

Bow shooting/hunting is a sport that is growing and technology is changing it to make it easier. I'd suggest you go down to an archery range and rent a bow for a hour and try it out.

Drop air and small bore, the crit range is gimp. Barrett M82 is the khopesh of target shooting!

And gratz on your achievement. I was expecting a tale of a bad run-in with an officer while target practicing in a national forrest area, lol.

    Grats on your achievement.

But because of your subject line, I've got to ask... How's your shot on the run?

It's hard enough with only a masterwork rifle, I need to stand still so I don't get a -4 to hit penalty. My base dex has its limits
