    Default Thread Necro’ing

I am requesting an education on thread necro’ing. I replied to an old thread yesterday. I started out by apologizing for the “necro” but my thought was that there was a lot of good input on the original thread (from 2010) and I didn’t want to waste peoples time by revisiting stuff that was already covered. The original post was less than one page. I probably would not have used it if it was a 10 pager.

Is my thinking totally scrambled? Should I never reply to an old thread and just start fresh. Just wondering everyone’s thought on the subject.

PS. Nobody was rude about the necro, just want to do things the right way.

I'll answer this for you in a few months.
I gave up a life of farming to become an Adventurer.

Just in general - you want to keep it short and sweet.

If it was over a year ago, consider starting a new thread and linking the old one in your first post with your questions.

    Same for 2 year

3 and 4 - I wouldnt necro them at all, the game has changed a lot in that time

    hope that helps
