How to revamp past life reward system <--- working again
Developers should fix this <--- 2020 edition!
I also did the survey, and one change to the UI that I'm surprised didn't get mentioned was that character names in a party no longer appear on mouseover. I would revert that back with one additional feature. I would like to know the position of a character on the minimap when I select them in a group or raid.
The primary benefit to this is for healers when a party member needs healing or a raise. Too often we see clerics at first glance not healing someone when in reality they are clicking the heal button like mad when a member is not in range. To have the dot highlight on the minimap on select would tell the healer exactly where they are. Everyone involved will be less confused.
Another consideration would be when a leader tries to lead a group and wants to be followed. Lets face it: A lot of dungeons and raids are pretty long and it's easy for people to get lost. A party member who is trying to follow the party leader can click on the leader's icon to instantly know which way is the correct way. No more following the wrong set of blue dots on the minimap just to get to Hound of Xoriat.
Anyways I wanted to get a feel for everyone's reaction to this because I know my eyes are either on the main game screen, the party interface, or the minimap. The minimap in my opinion is not getting enough love.

Regarding the NPC screens that pop up with the strotyline for the quests/raids.
Instead of the modern looking boxes that pop up and provide the storyline I would love to see something a little more appropriate to the era. One idea that I keep thinking of is to have the background on the NPC quest storyline boxes have a scroll and parchment look and feel to it. You know with the aged edges or sometimes some burned corners. You could even have 4 or 5 different versions of the scrolls.

The worst part of the new UI is the lack of mike indication. I can see other party members green indicator telling me they are broadcasting voice, however the new UI leaves me in the dark to my own mike's broadcasting.
I did like the assurance of seeing the green and knowing ppl could hear what i was saaying - and also the indication that something was wrong and i was constantly broadcasting stuff no one needed to hear (dog barking - breathing - speach cutting in and out)
Any chance of addressing this issue?
I believe he is. And even though it might seem like a small thing, it's actually a big problem in a lot of quests - especially for those of us who PUG a lot.
Getting back the party name mouseover in the map would be a big help - and getting a slightly different map indicator (maybe different shape or different color) for whoever you have selected in a party would make finding party member's a whole lot easier.
HEY, I'M TRYING TO SOLVE THAT!

I took the survey and skimmed through the thread. I agree with a lot of what has been said. I really don't like the new party UI.
One thing that I didn't see in the thread is how difficult it is to see if someone has disconnected. It was pretty easy with the old UI to see that a name was greyed out. Now, you have to really be paying attention to notice the change.
Per Cocomajobo - Ranged has easy access to AOE - apparently 3 feats, BAB 11 and Dex 19 is considered easy access these days. post here

Ran some stuff recently and I decided that I have to say it again:
Different colour dot in the minimap for selected party member
+
Different colour health for active palemaster form
=
Win! And happyness all around.
Also thought that some sort of indication that the party member has left the private quest instance (recalled, released or FO'd) would in some occasions also be usefull, but have no idea how it should look like other then "Drop when you're out".
I play most of my gametime as sorc, or favored if i want to run a few quests on my own, i group mainly with my sorc, and i would like a option on the hot bars to keep my spells on them even if i drag them off, depending on the quest or enemy i tend to swap spells to my keyboard number 1 to 4 for quick casting, but if i happen to drag too fast i *delete* my spell from the bar and using the lockbar option is not flexible enough since it lock everyting in place.
I do like the right clik metaoptions, maybe add the same support so my spells stay in place no matter what and at the same time i can swap them around freely.
