Default Monks and DT Runes Question

my Dwarf Light Monk is lvl 17 and I love him. Just got his DT armor and I got Air Gaurd/Protection +5/ No Eldritch Yet... and I did the AC boost from Stone of Change...

What is a great combo for a DPS light monk?

For my Monk, I generally look at these options. You can mix and match to your tastes.

Eldritch: Resistance +5 or Healing Amp 10%

Tempest: Corrosive Salt Guard, Crushing Wave Guard, Healing Amp 20%, or Protection +5

Sovereign: Dodging +3AC, Natural Armor +4AC, or one of the guards of your choice.

Avoid Crippling, Destruction or Smiting as they do not work with unarmed attacks.

If you're not going max AC, don't bother with any of the AC options.

For guards, I like Earthgrab, Enervation (de-leveling allows better stuns and monk goodies jade prison, quiv palm, etc. to take effect more often), Radiance ( blinds enemies, nice to get sneak attacks even with aggro), Disintegration, Air or Ooze ( to lower AC, plus ****ing an ooze is comical)

Never much cared for Dancing guard as it just doesn't proc often enough for my tastes.

Healing Amp +10%, Healing Amp +20%, first decent Guard you hit

With +10% and +20% healing amp from docent, +25% from jidz and the bonuses from the monk healing amp you can start getting healed for huge amounts, as well as making your fists of light coupled with vampirism wraps making you nigh invincible. For my last rune I went with Radiance guard, as the blind effect procs rather often.

Go with what you get at first, you can always just replace whatever effect you have when you get a better rune later on without hurting anything else.

My main set ended up with +5 resistance +5 protection and +4 insight to AC but I have other outfits I use occasionally with different effects on them.
