To the gentleman in Marketplace the other day sending vague threats to the people who joined your guild, looted your guild chest and then left:

1. That's what happens when you blind invite. Although I will note it CAN happen if someone is truly malicious, generally if you run with them over any period of time you would be better prepared to see this coming.

2. Yes, I made a joke about it, and at first thought you got said joke when you noted one of the people who stole from your chest's names started with 'lew', which is uncannily close to my name. Thinking you were having some fun back, I made comment that I needed the +1 cold touch rapiers that were in said chest to better flesh out my meager funds. I have, on average, 600k platinum on all of my characters over level 13, and more than a million on 2 of them. I HIGHLY doubt thee was anything in your chest that would be so coveted that I would leave my guild, where my son plays, join yours, loot your vendor trash and leave. My reputation means a little bit to me, and since I am a terrible player the only way I can still get into groups is by being honest and trustworthy. The many, MANY tells I received after you and other people began accusing me of stealing from you means that irony is lost on most people, and the fact that you did nothing to dissuade everyone from believing I was the culprit says almost as much about you as does randomly blind inviting people.

3. When you sent me a tell stating that you knew I was a troll and have seen me "starting stuff like this before", if that was true you would know that taking me seriously HIGHLY degrades one's playing experience. Even funnier when you state that "it's funny that some people think they own this game because they are from big guilds" to the other person claiming I was a troll and a thief, because the guild they are in is a lot higher than mine. Guilds, usually, don't get to decent levels and stay there unless they are manned (womanned? Flowered?) by genuinely good people. I know, I know, there are exceptions to every rule.

4. I meant, and still mean, what I said when I offered to help replace what you lost, because that's lame as all get out, and it's sad that people would do that. Let me know what I can do to help. To those STILL sending me tells asking why I stole from him: You are stupid. Get a life.

5. This space intentionally left blank.

There, I've said my piece, and hopefully if you are still telling people I stole from you for whatever reason this will convince you to stop it. No it really doesn't bother me, but it's annoying having to come up with a new insult every time someone asks me the same question in poorly spelled broken English.

Thanks, and have a great day.
Love,
Llewndyn

PS - +1 for having a guild name that for some reason made me think of Blades of Steel, the definitive hockey game for any system. I still have that game on NES, and DID play it after our encounter. I also found out that there's a puck and nets, almost like a sports game was built into what I thought was a pretty good Streetfighter clone.
