Infused Chaosrobe

Does the Spell Turmoil ability of the Chaosrobe stack with item bonuses like Potency? Or is Spell Turmoil like a free Superior Efficacy for the elemental type spell that you just cast? Also, about how often does it proc?

I'm wondering if I should replace my DT armor with this...

I does not stack, it's like free sup. [Element] IX (75%) for 30 seconds. It procs fairly often (I use the docent, though) but what's really weak it that the procced element is random. So you might get a sup. Combustion IX from casting Polar Ray.

If you decide to use the robe, do it for the caster level augmentation and the crafting slot because the Spell Turmoil itself is more fluff than crunch.

Oh. It's random? Yuck. Oh well, I guess I'll stick to my Heavy Fort robe until I hit 16.

Yeah, I was very disappointed with it once I got the docent. The +1 to evocation CL is nice, and the crafting can be good, but I'm happier with an upgrade Quorforged Docent now.

I would get it for the augmentation, not the proc.
