THe last 24 hrs, FLash flooding and major thunderstorms. Like with lighning and stuff. THis is rare here in Hawai'i.


THe Power outages are not. These seem to be rolling, flickering low wattage types. MY poor gaming.

I recall 2003 just pulled in heading back to SD it was raining so hard I was soaked just going 30 ft to get to the car. there were 3 storms 12ft swells in Waikiki +25 on the North shore.

Course I grew up in Clio, just on the outskirts of Flint, and I just found out that Flint has now bypassed Detroit as the most dangerous. Flint is 3rd and Detroit is 4th. Nice to see Michigan hitting a Top 5 list but just wish it could be a better list.

Course that is easy for my to say since I live in Lansing now. I don't even attempt to drive up near Flint anymore. At least until my armored vehicle arrives.

Didn't have that problem earlier today at home. Only about 2 miles from Waikiki. At work now so not able to play anyway.

Scary thing for me was that initial shooting earlier this morning happened only about 2 blocks from where I live while I was here at work and away from my family.

I know that feeling! I had to go to the courthouse when I was recruiting, and I got a bullet hole in my windshield. Told my boss I was never going step foot in the city again! Dodging bullets on deployment, I could handle. Not at home.
