Hello,

I've recently learned that i've mis-read a bit of how the archmage gets their SLA's. I thought I could have multiple full lines, but never saw the limitation in the Spell Mastery Enhancement (being only lvl 9 at the moment, haven't encountered it before).

So with that said I've changed my character a bit and hit some other problems. I'm wondering if web or any spell for that matter, has some undocumented "features" like the DnD versions that might take away a mobs Reflex save. In DnD entangled gave a "flat footed" type of modifier preventing the use of Dex to AC.

Does Web or grease or any kind of CC do that in DDO? I ask because now that I've re-done my schools a bit due to the new info I learned...my Arcane Bolt is getting "Evaded" in most of the Stormreach Plaza quests by the mobs (blockade buster, eye of stone, etc).

Before I was getting a lot of half-damage scenarios out in the Sands but not very many flat out evades. But last night pretty much EVERY lvl 7 damage wand I tried and a good 1/2 of my Arcane bolts were getting completely evaded. So unless I can take away their Evade with another spell to give me a littler better reliability, I really don't see the point in using such a hit or miss spell even for 2sp. I'm betting the AE version at 12 or 15 is going to be similar.

I'm guessing hold person/monster will do it since it emplements helpless? But what about lower spells like the Web, glitterdust, grease, etc. Thanks for any info.
