So I picked the water savant line yesterday with my lvl20 sorc, and then went tooling around for awhile to test things out and see how well I could blast stuff. Went to the vale and pretty much was just one shot everything with polar ray and thought to myself meh, this is cool(no pun intended) but frying a big pile of monsters with chain lightning would be more fun. So I left still debating which line I really wanted to end up with. Ice, acid, electric?
Then I joined a shroud this morning and we get to part4 and I click on Icy prison on Harry and he takes damage, passes the fort save for half which I expected, then he turns blue and stops moving because he fails the reflex save for trapped in ice! He is there for eh...maybe 5sec max moving Really slow/not moving at all while the melee are just beating him down. Then same for part5 every time Icy prison comes off timer I hit him with it and same result ice damage and then Blue and slow/not moving. I forgot to ask the melee after the quest but I don't know if he is considered helpless when he is stuck in ice??
Working as Intended? / Bug? / Awesome either way!
So..then the question/s is if you had enough water savants to overlap Icy prison timers could you keep him always in Ice?
Also haven't had enough time to get into any other raids yet to test on other bosses. But for the moment really happy I stayed with water savant!
