    Default Arangement of hot bar

I have a question for the fellow monks out there. What is the best way u have found to organzie ur hotbar to keep ur strikes organized? I feel like i just have sooo much to fit on there. Also i can never find a way to organize them so that important strikes dont get stuck towards the farend and sometimes end up getting neglected, i mean between unbalancing strike, quivering palm, stunning fists, and touch of death you have already taken up 4 spots with out adding strikes and the finisher. Any suggestions or configurations that have worked the best for you?

    Default Custom Keymap

I've set my keymap so i can use only the keyboard by using mouse look all the time and using the numpad to steer, as well as a few other things, so i put all my most important skllls on the first five or so slots on the first 3 hot bars, and i use metakeys to determine which hot bar it activates, PM me if you want more details

I'm bad at keymapping; or rather I'm bad at not mashing 8 keys at once in the middle of things.

I keep 3 or 4 hotbars stacked on the lower left for handwraps, pots, clickies, sneak, anything static and less combat-related. I keep two or three stacked on the lower right (probably since I'm mostly a righty) for stances and strikes, trip, etc.

I only shortcut what gets used, so occasionally I'll switch out strikes depending on the quest and what stance I'll be using most (i.e. I'll use strikes with a higher ki cost more often in fire stance). I also like to keep trip and sunder near the corner, and basic strikes after that; I can click them consecutively if I get lazy.

    1 dark strike
    2 earth 4
    3 lit 1
    4 fire 4
    5 finisher
    6 water 1
    7 iron fists
    8 earth 3
    9 earth 2
    0 quivering palm
    Middle mouse button stunning fist
    F touch of death
    Z shadow fade
    R abundant step
    T human versatility damage
    Y human versatility to hit

I'm sure there are better setups but I like having 2345 as dance, being able to spam sf with middle mouse button, having tod in easy reach of my movement as well as abundant step right above it.

Here's my setup, keep in mind I'm a lvl 20 Shintao monk:

I'm using a UI skin with "invisible hotbars" which is why I can have them nested so close together.

First bar is Void Strike 1, Fist of Light, water 1, Earth 4, lightning 1, Fire 4, Finisher, Earth 3, Min2 helm, pirate hat (CHA +6, Haggle +15 for haggle item).
Second is Fist of Light, shintao strikes in order, Stunning Fist, Abundant Step, Wholeness of Body, Meditate.
Third is handwraps, elemental stances, Power Attack, Slow Fall toggle.
Fourth and Fifth hotbars are for gear swaps.
Sixth is an extra hotbar to keep it looking balanced (I place things I rarely use on it, like Shadow Walk, +1 Silver Shurikens, and Phiarlan Pendant of Time).

It really comes down to which is easier for you. You may try a similar setup, but keep gear swaps in the first couple bars, rearrange the strikes a bit, and not even put potions on a bar (Btw, the potion on bar 4/spot 4 is Superior Ardor I, which increases the healing you get from the light monk's Healing Ki finisher. I've healed myself for 120+ with the pot going on a 3 minute timer, fire stance/Jidz-Tet'ka bracers, and healing amp ship buff, so they're quite convenient).

I have two hotbars dedicated to ki related abilities.

Bar 1 (always the active bar):
    1: Finishing move
    2: Fists of Iron
    3: Touch of Despair
    4: Earth Strike IV
    5: Wind Strike IV
    6: Fire Strike I
7: Water Strike I (Very rarely used)
    E: Quivering Palm
    F: Stunning Fist
    Q: Abundant Step

    Bar 2:
    ALT+1: Shadow Fade
ALT+2: Dance of the Water Strider
ALT+3: Trip (Ok, not ki based but sometimes useful)
    ALT+4: Earth Strike III
    ALT+5: Wind Strike III
    ALT+6: Void Strike II
    ALT+7:
    ALT+E: Touch of Death
    ALT+F: Can't remember right now..
    ALT+Q: Shadow Walk

This allows me to easily use anything I need without having to switch the active hotbar or move my hand from the WASD postition. Usual ki strike cycle is 5, Alt+5, 4, Alt+4, 2, 1. By the time that is done, the wind strikes should be coming off timer so it's continuous. Obviously punch in a touch of death when it's off timer, and a shadow fade/stunning fist when appropriate. Also allows for an easy dance finisher (4, 5, 6, 1) which I find invaluable. Quivering palm is there just to do run-by 1 hit kills on casters in anything shroud level and below.
