Check this picture of Ireland from space. The interesting part is there's not a single cloud over the entire country! This is extremely rare as almost the entire country is covered by clouds about 50% of the time.

I wonder what all the tiny tan dots are? Farmer's fields, maybe?

I took an international flight from the U.S. that connected in London's Heathrow airport once, and they flew in low over Ireland just after the sun came up. That sure is some pretty countryside. I'd love to visit someday.

They probably took lots and lots of shots from the same position in space and cobbled together an image of Ireland without any cloud cover. When I was a kid I had a poster of the world from space without clouds, and that's how it was achieved.
