5th Ann Event Info!

Hey everyone hope your February is going well! Mine is crazy busy!

I am putting together another series on the heels of the Heala Guide. This time it will be about DDO's 5th Annaversary Event!

Dungeons and Dragons Online 5th Anniversary Crafting & Live Event

This event seems super cool so far and there is a lot too it. Since I want you all to get the most out of it I am publishing some "pre-guides" to prepare you for the event that is coming soon. I have no idea how long it will last but I plan to live in it until they turn it off!

There is a new outdoorsy area where you can kill pirates built around the OLD starting area.

There is a new, very different quest called Crystal Cove.

Plus there are over 150 new craftable/upgradable items to make!

Needless to say there is lots around the corner. So I am putting these guides together of what I have learned on Lamannia. I will revisit these when it goes live to fix/correct/change whatever the devs do from Lamannia to live. It will be different but I hope this can give you all a head start on crafting some of the new gear.

Alright, posted the last couple pieces to the event last night.

Dungeons and Dragons Online 5th Anniversary Crafting and Recipes
This is a walkthrough of the steps to create the items. It goes into the details of each step and what will be needed for each level/step/tier.

Dungeons and Dragons Online 5th Anniversary New Crafted Items
This is a list of all the weapons and armor that was available to be crafted on Lamannia. It also lists what their powers are and what you get at each tier.

Please keep in mind that this is what I was able to copy down during the event. Some of them didn't seem quite right or effects where listed a couple of time. I suspect some of these were bugged but hopefully will be fixed in live.

Now let's hope they don't change to much for live. hehe I will be scrubbing all of this info when the event starts and will make whatever corrections are needed.

I would also appreciate any feedback on anything that is wrong on these guides or if there are things that I missed.

I hope these help everyone prepare for a really cool 5th Anniversary celebration for DDO! It's great to see we made it to #5. It is even better to see how strong the game is now. Thanks to the community and Turbine!

I hear ya! I have a list of items I want out of this. Its going to take some time to grind through all the gems and shards that I am going to need! hehe

Does someone know if the +1 loot bonus from fortune jewel stacks with the event bonus?

From everything they have done and said in the past it should not work to boost the named drops. Randomly generated loot is the only thing that is effected. This should not let you get T2 gems if you are one level lower, as far as I understand it.

OK so I did not get a chance to check out the hats on Lam. After looking at them on live I decided to whip up a quick guide on them too. Hehe
